Excellent for entertaining children and views are peaceful. Access to the grounds after it closes to day visitors is one of the best perks
The restaurant has a beautiful view but the variety is extremely disappointing. There’s only two vegetarian and they taste horrible 😣 and over priced. I don’t mind paying for fine dining but it’s just no worth it.

The facilities, rooms, and scenery were all excellent. It was easy to navigate around the grounds, which were well equipped for visitors. The castle self-guided tour with audio and the AI avatar were exceptional. I’d highly recommend staying, and it was a rare treat to have the grounds to ourselves once day visitors had gone.
The only disappointment was that there were people smoking in the rather full falconry and birds of prey display. While this was one of the highlights of our weekend, and was one of the best displays I’d ever seen, it was a shame that young children and adults were forced to secondary smoke during the event. Perhaps designated smoking areas outside of event spaces should be considered.
