Interior of building is beautiful. There is a large lounge to relax in. On arrival the Owner provided us with a lot of local information, including going to a local village to watch Monks conduct a service by singing. Plenty of street parking. We ate at Bar Jose in the evening surrounded by the locals. Food options limited but quality good.
Information on Booking.com is inaccurate. Yes there is a restaurant but it doesn't ever open. It says there is a bar but that is not true. There are a few bottles behind reception. Breakfast was terrible. It consisted of a glass of orange, cup of coffee (or tea), toast and a piece of cake. Every day was the same. We were a group of 4. Two of us sat down for breakfast and we were given the toast and coffee for all 4 of us. By the time our friends arrived their coffee and toast was cold. We did wonder if the Owners were inexperienced. We return from a day out to find our bedroom room ajar. We think the cleaner forgot to close it. The owner was very apologetic. We only saw the owners at breakfast and check in/out. No instructions on how to contact them at other times. Only 1 small pedal bin. Sign in bathroom says save water but sink had no plug, neither did our friend's room.
