Family-run for over 300 years, this traditional farmhouse is just a 10-minute walk from the center of Fuschl. Pension Hohenau has a solar-heated outdoor pool and offers panoramic views of Lake Fuschl.

It had an amazing location overlooking Fuschlsee. A traditional farmhouse with spacious rooms and beautifully appointed. A very friendly host who was always chatty and helpful. The breakfasts outside were amazing. And a real bonus - a swimming pool.
The local travel card, which was free, allowed free bus travel into Salzburg (every half hour) and also connected to St Gilgen at Wolfgangsee. This was real Sound of Music country (the tour bus passes by the Pension as part of its 4-hour tour). Loads of great restaurants in Fuschl am See. We will return here again as a base for exploring the area. Kristoff was the perfect host!

Absolut sauberes und sehr ordentliches Apartment. Ideal für Familien. Dazu die umsichtige und herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Hausherren. Ausgezeichnete Lage, um zu Fuß an den See zu gehen, zu wandern oder mit dem Bus in unmittelbarer Nähe Ausflüge nach Salzburg/ Bad Ischl zu machen. Alles ausgezeichnet!
