The Sands at Grace Bay

Pleasant staff and serene resort besides the construction next for but overall great location

No problems

Location, Hemingways and the room layout

Love the location, close to shops and restaurants. Love the beach location of this hotel- so peaceful, clean and clear. The hotel on property is great and we loved the room sizes and spacious balcony! We had everything we needed.

It is an older property, so may need some bathroom renovations soon, BUT everything was super clean, so that made up for it. Wish there was a proper hotel bar area. Hemingways has a bar but I wish the hotel itself had a swim up pool bar or just separate bar area.

Loved the location, great beach, walkable to the shopping center

Staff is not friendly, we didn’t even know about the shuttle that takes you to the sister properties till we were checking out and another family was there for the shuttle. Unit was not clean, ants in the cupboard, dead ants in the sliders at the bottom from the inside, we own 21 vacation rental properties and certain things can be understandable but those are basic things that should be cleaned. The pull out sofa had crumbs and stains on the mattress protector. Don’t have service on the beach unless you’re visiting from the shore club. We stayed at Point Grace last year and it was great being able to order on the beach especially when you’re on the beach all day.
