Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist ausgezeichnet, da das Hotel direkt am See liegt. Auch das Frühstück sowie Abendessen hat uns überzeugt.

1. Reception staff and the restaurant staff are not aligned when it comes to payments, especially for the breakfast. My daughter-in-law and my granddaughter came over for breakfast. We advised the reception to advise us how to go about it. They billed us for two adults and in the restaurant we were again billed for 2 adults. We complained at the reception and we were reiimbursed for the error. This should not happen, the concern is too simple to create such a mistake. 2. There was suppose to be welcome drink.. sort of bubbling wine from the owner's vineyard. However we were not advised about it at the reception, and when asked, she replied we should have asked the restaurant. But we were not informed upon check-in, I just saw it in their info board while waiting to finalize my bill. 3.It was advertised that massages were available at the SPA. So we called and asked if we should book ahead of time we are sure to get a slot. Customer Service advised we could reserve upon check in. As we were booking for the massage the receptionist advised that there was no schedule available and offered a date after our check date and time. We went to the SPA where there was no personnel, so we guess its self service. I was looking around if there were masseuse around since they said there were no schedule available, but.. did not see anyone. I am wondering if they really have a massage service or just an on call service ( if that is that case, they are exaggerating their advertisement).

Location was great. Breakfast and Bar area directly on the lake was super nice.

I would not rate this hotel a four star hotel. We got a super expensive room with view into the very ugly back of the building or whatever it was. Felt like they put us in a converted closet or something. The bed was good, and in the end it was ok, as we were hardly in the room anyway. But the discrepancy between the marketing pictures and the reality and the high price really made me feel cheated. Overall it has kind of come into its years, with ugly brown carpet in the hall ways and stairs. Breakfast was ok - regular hotel breakfast. The space of the buffet was way too small for the many people and the amount of food put out was always empty. The poot lone guy that had tonreplenish the trays and make the eggs was not able to manage it all on his own. I felt bad for him.
