We weren’t used to staying in an apartment hotel, so we were a bit hesitant at first about the cleaning schedule, but everything turned out to be very practical and smooth.
The owner Christina and the staff Ramona were incredibly helpful and kind! As new parents traveling for the first time with our 15-month-old toddler, we really appreciated how reassuring and accommodating they were with every detail. They provided us with a crib, a clean mat, extra sheets and covers, and were always available to answer our questions or help with any request.
They can also help arrange a transfer from Larnaca Airport with a car seat, which was very convenient when traveling with a toddler.
The highlight for us was definitely the pool! It was clean, at the perfect temperature, and ideal for our small group and our toddler. There were also several pool toys and floats already available, such as a crocodile float and a car float, which we were kindly allowed to use.
We also loved how spacious and practical the apartment was: a large bedroom, a comfortable living room, a very well-equipped kitchenette, and a balcony where you can hang all your wet clothes and towels. There was plenty of space for our toddler to move around and play safely, which made our stay even more comfortable as a family.
The only downside of the Pigeon Hotel is the noise at night, especially if you’re a light sleeper. There’s quite a bit of traffic noise, but after a few nights, you do get used to it. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
One small suggestion from a parent’s perspective: it would be very practical to have a highchair available upon request, just like the crib.
Also, having a box of tissues and a bottle of water upon arrival would be a lovely little touch. They already provided coffee capsules, milk, and tea, which was so thoughtful and very much appreciated!
And one last small suggestion from a very light sleeper 😊: adjusting the bedroom curtains so they provide a complete blackout, including around the edges, would be a great addition!

What a beautiful, welcoming hotel. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The room was lovely, very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The hotel is very professionally run with attention paid to detail. They accommodated guests needs over and beyond expectations.
It is a lovely unique hotel, lots of original touches. Very professionally run.
