I think the property is overrated I don’t understand the hype about The Sand Castle, but we enjoyed ourselves.
When we went to bed there were bugs biting us. The room did get sprayed which helped.

The owner of the hotel was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to both my partner and me. The beach located directly behind the hotel was a highlight of our stay, offering excellent conditions for swimming and snorkeling. The food served at the on-site restaurant was good.
However, one aspect that detracted from our experience was the behavior of an miserable older man at the pool area, whom I presumed to be an employee. He appeared disengaged, often standing idly with a drink in hand, and his demeanor toward us was very discourteous.
The restaurant opens really late so no breakfast options until Sat. and Sunday for brunch starting at 10am but by then, we are already out exploring the island. The "continental breakfast" is not appeasing.
