You can walk to the lake Bohinj in 10-15 minutes. Savica Waterfall is 17 minutes drive. The view from the room was amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rooms Malej. It is like coming home! Warm, friendly owners and extremely clean property. It is clear the pride that is taken in these apartments. We stayed in a room and an apartment and both were amazing, with everything you could need. We loved the balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape. The apartment's cooking facilities were great. We loved the home baking and sitting in the garden...it is these small things that give the hotel an edge. It is just 100m from the bus stop before the town. You can also travel to Lake Bled by public bus from right near the hotel. The property is about a 5 min walk from the main town and lake. We found the Bohinz card was well worth buying. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay in spite of the unusually hot weather (Opening doors and windows at night helped keep it cool enough for sleeping). Our host was so kind and helpful with great recommendations for local restaurants. The view from the sobe room is spectacular! We walked places and also used our rental car which was easy to park in the lot. The room and bathroom were very modern, clean, and comfortable. We really appreciated the drying rack on the balcony, the cafe table and chairs both in the room and outside, and the hot water kettle to make coffee. :)
