Country studios was close to the main city, without the noise of the city. Nice spot to go to multiple directions in the island.
Very windy spot also! It has everything you need for a short or longer stay.
The owner, kiria Fotini, is accommodative and helpful, very pleasant to talk to. She makes you feel welcome and at home :)
Although the area there is very windy, there were too many mosquitoes.

H τοποθεσία είναι θαυμάσια, σ' ένα ήσυχο φυσικό τοπίο με ωραία θέα. Το κατάλυμα είναι λιτά επιπλωμένο, αλλά εξοπλισμένο με τα πάντα. Διαθέτει μια όμορφη βεράντα με μικρό κήπο. Το σημαντικότερο είναι η θερμή φιλοξενία της κυρίας Φωτεινής που με διακριτικό τρόπο φρόντιζε να μας ευχαριστεί και να μας παρέχει ό,τι της ζητήσουμε. Το δωμάτιο καθαριζόταν καθημερινά, κάτι σπάνιο γι' αυτή την κατηγορία καταλυμάτων. Μπράβο στην κυρία Φωτεινή!

Country studios are on a very convenient location for a visitor wishing to be close to Pigadia, the island capital, the beaches of the south area, which are usually protected from the wind, and the villages of the central montane region. The hidden gem of Country studios is Mrs Foteini, the owner, who welcomes guest with treats made by herself from her garden, like the apricot jam we were given. She is a very gentle person, who gave us a really welcome stay, as if we were in our country house. Our studio was cleaned every day and contained all necessary cutlery, crockery and utilities to prepare breakfast or quick lunches. The estate has a pretty garden with olive trees, fig trees, lemon trees and other mediterranean tree species.
Nothing, it was all perfect!

La signora che ci ha accolto durante il check in (la proprietaria del posto) è sempre stata molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto assaggiare il suo liquore e poi anche dei biscotti. In più veniva a rifare il letto tutti i giorni e a metà settimana ci ha cambiato lenzuola e asciugamani, cosa che abbiamo davvero molto apprezzato!
La posizione per noi era molto comoda, tranquilla, appena fuori dal centro di Pigadia, raggiungibile in macchina in 5-10 minuti circa) e comoda per raggiungere in auto poi tutte le varie spiagge.
La struttura ha il parcheggio.
C'è il wifi, altra cosa che abbiamo molto apprezzato.
Abbiamo prenotato questo alloggio circa 2 mesi prima della nostra partenza, diciamo che era la struttura che costava meno (abbiamo speso 490 euro di 7 notti) quindi ovviamente non avevamo aspettative altissime. Si tratta di un piccolo monolocale con letto, piccola cucina e bagno. Il letto non è dei più comodi e sopratutto cigola tantissimo perciò le prime notti non riuscivamo a dormire perchè appena uno si muoveva nel letto svegliava l'altro per il rumore dei cigolii del materasso. La cucina è proprio piccolissima, attrezzata con il minimo necessario, la nostra idea era di utilizzarla per qualche cena, ma ci abbiamo rinunciato dopo il primo giorno quando abbiamo visto che era invasa dalle formiche...veramente tante e ovunque...anche nel nostro cibo. Il bagno insomma...il rubinetto del lavello è piccolissimo e scomodo, la doccia con un solo vetro (quindi l'aqua esce e si bagna tutto il bagno) e anche l'asta della doccia è completamente rotta, si stacca proprio dal muro, infine la pressione dell'acqua è bassissima quindi serve molta pazienza per lavarsi. In più ogni tanto abbiamo avuto dei problemi, l'acqua che non andava più, corrente saltata...a quanto pare Comunque non dovuti dalla struttura, e che Comunque si sono sempre risolti velocemente. Al quinto giorno invece l'unica luce del bagno ha smesso di funzionare, ma ce la siamo tenuta così fino a fine vacanza perchè non avevamo voglia di disturbare.
La signora ci ha anche consigliato di cenare in una taverna chiamata "Elias Kafeneon" a Menetes dicendoci che facevano buon cibo a poco prezzo...il posto è una piccola tavernetta molto tipica gestita da un signore, ci è piaciuto e abbiamo mangiato bene, ma è stata la cena più costosa di tutta la vacanza! Abbiamo speso molto di più di quello che ci saremmo aspettati, non c'era un menù con i prezzi e non ci è stato dato uno scontrino perciò non sappiamo effettivamente cosa costasse ogni piatto.
