The location and the surrounding of the homestay, simply, is what you are looking for when in Mulu.
Diana apart from being nice provides a professional hospitality service to the customers, communication with her is quick and effective. She quickly arranges meals, transports and also activities such as night cruises if you like.
You feel really comfortable in the homestay.
Having to leave was a bit sad.

A lovely Homestay with a lovely family. Diana is a fabulous host, very helpfully l and good communication via WhatsApp. Good basic budget accommodation.
The photos on Booking.com show more communal areas and a shared kitchen which aren’t now available. The Homestay is undergoing building work.

Diana seems to be motivated to make your stay comfortable.
Breakfast is quite simple and basic
It's 30 minutes to Mulu park, 45 minutes walking to the airport.
Electicity only 6PM-6AM. You get notified after booking.
While I walked from the airport, I met Diana half distance on her way back, after she dropped people at the airport.
Also one evening after the park, she picked me up on the street while passing by.
At check out she charged me for transport :(
You can stay cheaper in the park with 24/7 electricity
