Excellent Stay!
Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Metropole. The staff was super helpful, rooms were clean and comfy, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

We like the area so location fine for us.

Unfortunately on this (our third) stay, there was quite a lot of noise at night from the next door restaurant's ventilation system. If I were the owner I would get this problem sorted IMMEDIATELY! Wd will only stay again if it has been.

The best part is the fantastic location. Just suits us whenver we travel to Kolkata. Loads of eateries in walking distance, can also go the Rabindra Sarovar lake for morning walks, close to the Kalighat Metro as well.
The AC did not function on the temp showing. We had to use a lower temperature to get the desired effect. Maybe it needed repair/ servicing.

For us the location worked as it is next to our destination. For others too, location would be the USP. Otherwise the facilities and property looked jaded. Cleanliness could definitely be better even if this is strictly a transit hotel with nil amenities.
Cleanliness, dark bathroom, hard bed, overall upkeep of the property.
