Villa des Roses liegt zentral in Roussillon. Fußweg ca. 10-15 min.
Die Wohnung, welche sich im oberen Stockwerk des Hauses der Gastgeber befindet, ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Besonders hat uns diese Ruhe, entspannte Atmosphäre mit dem tollen und sehr gut gelegenen Pool gefallen. Hier kann man gut zur Ruhe kommen und entspannen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Gastgeber waren sehr gastfreundlich.

We had a wonderful time at the Villa. Marion and Francois were wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts - they were such a lovely local couple with great recommendations and we were so glad to get to stay with them.
The rooms were located on the upper floor of their home, with a seperate key lock entry. The room itself was spacious - we had booked the two bedroom apartment, which also came with its own living space and TV. The bedrooms had air conditioning, which was a ‘must have’ during the recent heatwave, and the rooms were kept cool and comfortable. The bathroom spaces were large, and Marion replaced towels and touched up the room daily. Marion also made a delicious home cooked breakfast we blissfully ate each morning on the terrace surrounded by nature.
The property has a pool, which is another ‘must have’ during Summer in Provence.
It’s also a very short walk up into Roussillon. It’s a bit of a hill up the driveway, but once you get there, it’s not too hard an incline into the city. You can also easily drive into the township, and park in the public parking (2 minutes drive from the home).
Marion was also incredibly helpful, and called the Tourism office for us, to help us understand which the Lavender fields hadn’t been harvested.
We would absolutely recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area who is looking for a comfortable stay, a great pool and stunning scenery.
Nothing! The only thing to note is that the rooms are located on the first floor, so if you’re travelling with heavy bags (as we were), you will need to carry them up the first flight of stairs.
