Booked our stay here prior to any reviews.
Great location with superb views; very private in a lovely old building. Marie-Ange and Claude were lovely owners, as was their daughter who was waiting for us on arrival with the keys. We appreciated the homemade conserve left for us in the fridge.
Appliances in the kitchen were top quality, with a double oven and a good sized fridge-freezer. The lounge was cosy and the spacious dining room had wonderful views.
Parking is safe and secure: not far from the property, but a few metres to carry suitcases and food!
We enjoyed sitting on the pool edge reading a book and admiring the fabulous views. This property is on a large plot where privacy is guaranteed.
Our stay was good, but some things just didn't make it great. Booking.com advertises this as a whole house, which is not correct as the owners live on the upper floor of the main house. We paid for 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, but only had a choice of 2 - the second bedroom and shower room being in a separate building across the small courtyard (the third perhaps being above this?). We didn't swim in the pool because it wasn't filtered or cleaned while we were there (9 nights).
We feel very sad to post a review that isn't very complimentary because the location is superb and the owners are lovely. Employing a cleaner, gardener and pool-maintenance company would make a huge difference to the experience of the guests who stay here - which we think, for the £125 a night we paid, is a justifiable recommendation.

It was a gem! And so much more beautiful then we expected based on the photo’s! The premises are old and so cozy and outdoors full of nice places to sit and hang out and enjoy the beautiful view and sunset! Felt like queen of the castle. The owners - Claude and Marie Ange - are great and helpful and made us the best prune jam/jelly from the prunes that grow in the fantastic garden.
