About this condo rental
Located in Memphis, this lovely condo for $220 per night is a great option for your next trip. **Security cameras monitor all entrances 24/7. Additional fees apply to more than 6 guests. Upfront honesty about the number of guests is appreciated and cheaper. NO smoking, pets, parties or events of any kind.** One night rentals Monday through Wednesday only. One night rentals Thursday through Sunday will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The neighborhood has a family-friendly event the last Friday of every month called Trolley Night. If you are sensitive to noise or do not want to be disturbed prior to 10pm, I would choose another location if the dates of your trip fall on the last Friday of the month. The streets are bustling with live music and pedestrians from 6-10pm during this event. It's a great local experience! No cancellation refunds for bookings during holidays or special events. UNIT 2 Information: - Completely renovated as of 2015 with modern finishes and decor - Walk to everything downtown Memphis has to offer or step right outside the front door to ride the trolley - Condo has two levels of stairs - 3 bedrooms (2 private, 1 semi-private - inquire for more details), 3 baths - 2 memory foam king beds, 1 queen bed - Secure, controlled access building - 2 Gated, tandem parking spots accessed from behind unit - Semi-private outdoor deck shared with neighboring unit - Apple TV/cable and free WiFi internet provided - Large smart TVs in living room and each bedroom - Kitchen stocked with a coffee maker, dishes, utensils and quality cookware - Clean towels, linens and bedding provided - Complimentary coffee, tea, creamer & sugar - Coffee shop across the street, multiple bars/restaurants less than a block away - Trolley stop directly outside front door - NO pets, parties or events of any kind - NO smoking/vaping inside the unit or illicit drug use of any kind **PLEASE NOTE** This is a residential unit with a residential water heater. Like with your home, if 3 or more people take back-to-back hot showers, you will run out of hot water. I recommend guests stagger their shower times to avoid running out of hot water. It can take approximately an hour for a full tank to reheat.

What a wonderful spot, just around the corner from the Civil Rights Museum. A quick walk to some fun local spots for food or drinks or about a half mile to Beale street. Communication with Chris was wonderful and the place was perfect with lots of amenities, especially off street parking. One note, there were lots of stairs to get to the main floor, which wasn’t a problem, but make sure you’re ready for a climb.

What a lovely gem in the middle of Memphis! Everything about this property was perfect! The rooms, the location, the cleanliness.. it is the complete package! We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again as it was perfectly located to the Lorraine Motel( literally right out the back door) and the trolley, Beale Street and the awesome trails to run on nearby. Thank you Chris for an amazing experience! Our whole family was so impressed and grateful for this amazing space to experience Memphis!!

We loved our stay. This has to be the best place to stay in town. The location is perfect. Walking distance to just about everything and the Trolley stops right out your front door. The home was perfect and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We will be back.

Perfect place to stay in Memphis.
Great location. Close to major sites we wanted to see. Grocery store 1/3 of a mile away. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. Trolley right outside. Walked to Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Took a long walk across the Mississippi River using a pedestrian bridge fairly close to the home.
Home is exactly as pictured and described. Great to have a nice, quiet respite after a day of activities in the summer heat.
Excellent communication. Easy check in and check out. Owner includes extras such as main toiletries, fans, a white noise machine.
Kitchen easy to work in. Washer and dryer a huge plus.

We try to visit Memphis annually to visit family and enjoy a summer holiday. Although the matriarch of the family stays with her nephew, we prefer to stay in town to be close to the many attractions Memphis has to offer. We found Chris’s property on Main Street and couldn’t be happier with the location and accommodations. This property was spotless: you know a place is clean when you look at the vents in the bathrooms and there is no dust accumulation. We were directly in front of the National Civil Rights Museum (a must see). Also, the trolley station is right outside the front door and there are several breakfast options within a block. The house was tastefully decorated and the hosts provided many amenities including a choice of a Mr. Coffee drip coffeemaker or a Keurig. Although we used our own coffee, Hills Brothers was provided. We really had everything we needed; fast Internet and YouTube television. It was nice to have secure parking and no need to worry about keys as entry to unit was coded. We will definitely stay again if the unit is available the next time we visit. Thank you so very much.

We have stayed in MANY VRBOs for years - this was the cleanest & nearest we have ever stayed in! Decor was lovely, well stocked with thoughtful touches, new appliances, beds comfortable, good water pressure, secure parking, convenient location. I would absutely stay here again. Christopher was very available & helpful. Was concerned about location driving in but it is just within an area that is renovated w cute shops & lofts - felt very safe once we arrived. Wish we could have spent more time there & would recommend it highly!

This property was amazing. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. As a tea drinker, I was thrilled to find a tea pot in the cupboard! The location was perfect. Close to everything and having the trolley out front was perfect. Loved being so close to Central BBQ (best chocolate cake!) We would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Memphis.

A unique apartment in an urban setting that is within walking distance of Beale Street, great restaurants, the Lorraine Hotel, and many other sights. We parked our car in the secure lot and walked everywhere. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. Make sure to ask Chris about his recommendations and he will email you his “Memphis guide”. We highly recommend this place.

Location was perfect if you want to explore Memphis. Trolley outside, many things in walking distance (try Central Barbeque and Arcade, both in walking distance). Clean and very comfortable. Gated parking a plus. Be aware, lots of stairs. For me, I liked it because we were on upper floor and looked out over street. But if you have anyone that cannot maneuver stairs very well, just an FYI. I will definitely stay here again!

The place is walking distance to many attractions including Beale St and the Lorraine hotel. The place was extremely clean and decorated nicely. Chris was super responsive with questions for this north Midwest girl who is not used to the city life. 5 stars around.

I cannot say enough positive things about the location, owner, and property. I've had many VRBO experiences, this one was at the top.
Location was central and near everything: civil rights museum on next block, FedEx forum 1/2 mile walk, great breakfast place on corner, great coffee across the street, local bar with music on corner, trolly stop in front of building.
Slept 6 people in 3 beds well. Clean and organized. I highly recommend.

The place was very nice and clean. Fully equipped and well kept for the family we took with us. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. We were even offered a pack and play for our two babies. The only downfall to this trip would be when I booked the place, I thought I had booked the entire weekend. We got notified that we only had booked one night and asked when we would be getting our things. I called back and told him the mistake and that we were at the zoo and would be headed that way. Our husbands left the zoo immediately, went straight to the house, packed 8 peoples belongings in 15 minutes. When we left the room, the owner texted asking if we had taken the tv remote by mistake. We checked and double checked our baggage and relayed to him that we did not have the remote. A week later I got the notification of there being a charge for a remote that we did not have. I reached out to the owner and told him that we again did not have his remote as I received his charge. He said that they were sure they did not have the remote. His comment was that they still hadnt found the remote and I would also see a charge for my late departure as well. The responses that I received during this ordeal just didn’t set well with me. Five days later I receive another text saying that his wife found the remote and that they would refund me the money. As much as I appreciate them reaching back out, I never got an apology. Again the room and stay was great itself, but to be charged for a mistake we truly had no clue we did along with another charge for a remote we didnt take without an apology ruined the stay for me.

We went this past weekend for my daughters 25th birthday to go to Graceland, LOVED it. I honestly can’t say enough about this place. Chris is amazing and super nice. Quick to answer calls and texts. The place is so nice, super clean, everything updated. Felt very safe in and around neighborhood. Very old quaint building. Awesome coffee shop right across the street, Central BBQ two minute walk from back door. Arcade diner amazing, another two minute walk. Beale St less than 10 minute walk, but trolley stop two doors down. We’re just sorry that we didn’t book it longer than weekend. So much history to see. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay and everything was as terrific as it was the first time. From the holiday decorated home, to the super thoughtful hosts, everything was top notch. The apartment was excellent and already decorated for Christmas when we arrived just before thanksgiving. That added to our festive mood. The host was very helpful as well. Don’t miss the National Civil Rights Museum which is practically next door.

This is a wonderful place from which to see the sights of Memphis. Beale Street is an easy walk, and the Civil Rights Museum is in the neighborhood.
The unit is clean, well-equipped and spacious. It is a welcoming place.
Chris was incredibly responsive when we had a parking issue because a scofflaw parked in our spot. He picked up the phone when I called and tackled the situation immediately.

Good location right on the trolley, and a great coffee shop diagonally across the street (Hustle & Dough). The Civil Rights Museum was on the block behind the building, a super short walk and well worth the $17 admission! Note that the 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor, the other 2 are up 2 flights of stairs. The trolley is noisy at night if you are a super light sleeper. Otherwise, nice place.

Fantastic property and property host. The property is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The host (Chris) responded immediately to a couple of very minor issues and corrected them the same day or next. The property is perfect for 2 couples. We rented both units and had 4 couples (2 in each unit). Easy walking distance to Beale street, quality restaurants, Ghost River Brewery, and South Point Grocery. South Point Grocery is a very clean and well stocked grocery store with a wide selection of beer and wine. If you stay in this property you will get some street noise from the trolley and other traffic. It does quiet down after 10 pm. This is the second time we have stayed at this property and I imagine there will be a 3rd, 4th, and others in our future.
