Peaceful village hotel .no noise and in a nice location outside of koln and Bonn

The hotel was adequate and breakfast was good
We were caught in traffic and were running late but we’re desperate to have a good dinner having left home at 6 am. The info said the restaurant would stop serving at 9 pm so we rang to ask if it was at all possible for them to still serve us if we were late and were reassured they would let the kitchen know. We entered the hotel at exactly 9 pm but it was a 2 mins walk to the restaurant. When we arrived the staff weee sitting eating there dinner and we were only able to have something off the bar menu. The salad bar was still set up but we weren’t allowed to have any of it(we expect it went in the bin) and the staff were not very engaging with us. A shame

Nice room in a peaceful area, large adjacent parking.
We didn't have time for the breakfast so I cannot rate this service.
A fridge in the room would be convenient.
