good value, great view. quite town

the place was great. the view was fantastic. host was pleasant. We would stay again

it is quite a climb down to the place. With heavy luggage and small children you may have an issue. there is no wonder why the people in the town are so fit. lots of hills. but you are in the alps. Washer is small and a $5 fee per load.

Stop looking - you've found the perfect place to stay in Wengen!

Everything. The listing for this property does not do it justice. The views are breathtaking. The amenities perfection. The host the epitome of graciousness. We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Chalet Gerbera.

A wonderful chalet with breathtaking views to enjoy!

The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. Great mountain views from the balcony and the master bedroom. It was very cosy and warm so our family enjoyed the stay very much. The hosts were also responsive and helpful in terms of communication.

As we had 4 luggage to bring during our winter trip, it wasn't easy to get to the location from the train station. Going back, we had a taxi to help. Still, we wish we could have a longer stay!

Memorable stay!

We had an amazing stay at the chalet! the view from the balcony was exceptional, you can see the Eiger and Jungfraujoch through the Lauterbrunnen valley. Ruth was a great host as well, with prompt replies and making sure everything was alright. the chalet was clean with basic toiletries provided.

The walk to the chalet from the train station might not be the most convenient for groups with elderly, especially with luggages.

A very nice stay in Wengen with beautiful view from balcony

The apartment was very clean, it was well-furnished with all required amenities you need! It is also very nice located with great view from balcony over Lauterbrunnen and the mountain peaks, yet it's not too far located from the main station/supermarket. I really love the environment, just beside the apartment you will find a nice bank to sit and adoring the view. And if you have kids, there is nice, big playground very near the property (near Hotel Edelweis). The host (Frau / Mrs. Widmer) is a very nice person, even before our arrival the communication has been great with her. All in all, I do not have any complaints about the property, it really met my expectations (if not better), and also I think the price really worth it for Swiss standard. No need to look further, just book the place and you won't regret ;-)

Perfection, with jaw-droppingly beautiful views!

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped chalet apartment with glorious views of Jungfrau and Lauterbrunnen. We stayed in the 2-bedroom top-floor apartment of Chalet Gerbera - we would stay there again in a heartbeat! It had a fully equipped kitchen, with a full-size fridge, a dishwasher, and every kitchen utensil / amenity you can think of, including parchment paper, a pizza cutter, and an eggbeater - I was able to cook for my family as though I was at home. There are so many thoughtful little touches, including slippers, and a heated towel rack in the bathroom (which is nicer than our bathroom at home!). Everything was spotlessly clean and our host Ruth was so friendly and helpful! We basically just want to move in and live here permanently! 😀

Stunning views from a delightful chalet

the location was perfect - slightly tucked away from the town centre and with absolutely spectacular views from the balcony. Ruth and George were so lovely and provided us with everything we needed. The chalet itself was incredibly clean and comfortable. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for everything. We would also really recommend staying Wengen - although it seems remote (something we loved) the train connection down to Lauterbrunnen is frequent and reliable and you can even hike up and down if you fancy it. Wengen had everything we needed. It’s a paradise.

Almost nothing except the flies coming in through the open windows (it was warm during the day). I hunted them down😀

Breath taking views in a cozy and well set up chalet with fabulous communication from owner.

Amazing view from this gorgeous well located chalet. Fabulous communication from owner. Excellent facilities, plenty of cooking supplies including raclette and fondue.

Fantastic Chalet in Wengen with amazing balcony view of Lauterbrunnen Valley and mountains

Everything. The view was amazing. It was easy to get to from the train. The host was super helpful but gave us our space. The chalet was clean and had all you need to enjoy your stay. Great kitchen and bathroom. We loved Wengen, Chalet Gerbera and the view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley!
