This was truly a wonderful stay and after staying at a couple other resorts on the island we can say that we enjoyed this one the most. These are real beachfront accomodations and you walk right out of your bungalow and can run straight into the water for a swim multiple times a day. The swimming and snorkelling out front was absolutely amazing. Personal kayaks and you didn’t have to worry about not getting a chance to go out on one because there were plenty. The outdoor shower was great and then you had a personal foot bath which was even better. The housekeeping was incredible and some of the most thorough we have ever had. They even did our dirty dishes! Many thanks! The bungalow was great and really big. The kitchen is pivotal on a long stay so you don’t have to eat at restaurants all the time. The hosts were amazing and friendly and left you in your privacy which we appreciate. The bungalows were surprisingly private and screened off well so you didn’t feel that you were watching other people. They changed towels every day and you never had a shortage which is SO incredible in a beach stay because you go through lots and there is nothing worse than reusing a wet towel.

Minor things and not enough to detract from the stay. Bit of trimming needed on palm fronds as noisy at night when hitting roof (already mentioned this and they were super kind and said they would deal to it) and maybe the sound proofing of the bathroom for our villa (front middle) we felt like everyone could hear us because we could hear them very clearly on their patios from the garden bungalows). Would recommend some way to close off the shower from the toilet. Not a huge deal!

Fantastic location, the beach and access to swimming/snorkeling were excellent, a beautiful vista. Relaxed part of the island, Also close to a convenience shop and Muri lagoon/night market/restaurants . The bungalow itself was roomy and facilities were all to expectation. The initial food and drinks supplied made the first morning easy (after a late arrival). We used the snorkels, flippers and kayaks provided. Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend hiring a small car to get around as the roads can be a bit rough and the buses are only once an hour each way.

The bed had a foam mattress with a loose topper which made the bed a little uncomfortable and the base sheet kept coming off, easily fixed with a better quality mattress. This did not spoil the stay, it was a mild inconvenience.

Position on waterfront beach was ideal sitting on the verandah. Liked the layout of the bungalow and kitchen facilities. Also the staff were lovely.

For this price the beds need to be upgraded to a proper bed and mattress rather than a so called 'Tahitian' bed which is a 3 inch foam mattress on a hard wood base. Also the roof needs to be covered with thatching as it has not been replaced and the noise from rain through a tin roof is very loud when there is no insulation either! All of the stereo/sound system units need to be replaced as ours didn't work at all.
