Good location to the city + free parking

The room was nice, with comfortable bed, retro design, working appliances, ventilation. I liked French t.v. programmes. The breakfast was good, with fruit, cereals, croissants, coffee etc. I tried everything and had plenty to eat. The staff were helpful and friendly. They assisted with all my requests, including an early check in. I was able to have breakfast in peace within the seating area, which is also located outside, in the nice communal area. There is also good security, with gates and staff available, to monitor. There are good transport links nearby, with Metro and buses.
There wasn't a large area for breakfast. It wasn't a problem for me, as it wasn't too busy, but could of been an inconvenience. The location is in a nice part of Lille and has shops nearby, but not a lot of places to eat out. The main places in the city centre are within walking distance, but a bit far for some people. Some of the people who were staying there, were a bit anti social, but it didn't bother me too much.

Just needed a simple place to sleep for 2 nights. Wasnt expecting a luxury hotel. Overall good value for the price paid. Shared ablution facilities were generally clean and available. Easy access to the metro.
Slight smoke smell throughout the building. Inconsiderate other guests being loud in the corridors.
