The location along the river and the sounds of the river. I love that is used to be a hacienda and the rooms are beautifully decorated.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to all the Zone Romantic restaurants, downtown, and nearby local markets and vendors. Also, very close to Conchas Chinas Beach (about 5-8 min uber ride)
That I wasn't able to stay to stay an extra week lol. I wasn't ready to leave to come back home.

Such a cool hotel! The design was very unique and the bed was sooooo comfortable. Incredible shower.

The eclectic decor, at first glance, is very fun and could be great. Staff was very nice. The old armoires in our room were pretty. Bed was comfortable, if very tall.
There was no feeling of security in our room (sound, light, safety, etc) as the main door was rickety and full of latched windows that didn't really close all the way. We were in a room that was off the lobby hallway that was a passthrough with lights triggering and no curtains to shield it. Little bathroom privacy within the room, and everything (cabinets, furniture) felt and looked rickety and worn. The toilet and bidet were so close together and placed at opposing angles so when you sat on the toilet your clothes either pressed against the bidet or rubbed on the toilet. If you were tall, your knees hit the bidet. Also, this room was completely interior which was a surprise and disappointment. There appeared to be a manhole cover in the entryway corner painted over and I hope it was sealed/defunct at least. A poorly designed and uncomfortable room overall. The pool bar was dirty and had ants crawling where the bartender left a bunch of fruit scraps out, and we definitely saw cockroach poop in areas by the bar - on the top floor.
