Nice hot strong shower

This place is a cozy getaway from the busy life in the city. The staff were very attentive and supportive. Restaurant is nice and accommodating to large groups like families. Food was delicious, portions generous and price affordable. Breakfast buffet was nice with a range of Sri Lankan food available.
The place is a huge with ample space for kids to run and play. Note that the property is huge hence might be tricky maintaining during the rainy season. Thw number of water ponds around, the dead silence and the riparian trees, the the cozy darkness surrounding the atmosphere add this strange feeling of being isolated from the rest of the world, which I love the most while being on a vacation.
The pool was very clean and well maintained. There's a kids pool as well which is only 2 feet deep.
Sad we had to leave and will definitely go back to spend a couple more days.
Nothing in this world is perfect. I admire the service provided for the money we paid it was beyond expectations.

It's a type of adventure park amidst lots of trees, greenery. The section I stayed had semi attached units. Another, ritzier part I didn't see. Swimming pool is excellent, and restaurant menu and bar service superb.
The cheaper section I stayed in was maybe a 2 star section by western standards, but 3.5 star by Sri Lankan standards. Everything was concrete. Interesting. Water stain marks in the ceiling, only cold water, no toilet paper, sheets a bit too small for the bed but adequate. Phone, tv, needed staff to fix (partially successful) and a window that didn't lock. But clean. And hey, cheap.
