Superb location in the Normandy countryside. Picturesque location. Every road, street and town is charming and magical. Many wonderful towns and attractions are a short and enjoyable drive away. The accommodation itself was beautiful, with classic French charm in a historical and romantic chateau. The gardens and chirping birds were a highlight. It felt like a fairytale!

The oven was broken. No coffee or tea was supplied. Not enough toilet paper or dishwasher tablets were provided for our stay. The shower pressure was so good it flooded the bathroom after only a short shower when set to the overhead nozzle (the hand nozzle didn't do this, but was also impractical to use seeing its holder was only 1.5m off the ground... too short for me!) These were only minor issues in an otherwise fantastic stay, and are more provided for feedback to the accommodation to address to push this up to a 5-star destination. I still give it 10/10... it's still one of the best places I've ever stayed.
