The apartment was large and pleasant, with (just) a view of the Matterhorn (there was building going on next door which may get in the way of the view in future - check this before booking!). It was a short walk from the town centre and easy to get around Zermatt. The agent warned us about the building activity before we arrived and offered a discount, which we took, and which was a considerate thing to do.
The balcony looked towards the Matterhorn - great view, we hope it isn't spoiled!
There is a fold away bed in the living room, and as a result the living room was large and half empty. It definitely has the feel of a ski lodge (inevitable perhaps in Zermatt!).

De locatie van het appartement is top. Voor de deur de ski bus , op loopafstand van de sunegga metro en de gornergrattrein. Royaal appartement met heerlijk balkon op het zuiden. Uitzicht op de matterhorn. Voor twee personen goed maar voor 4 zou het wat klein zijn vanwege maar 1 badkamer met daarin het toilet. Het was wel erg warm binnen. Op loopafstand van het station en centrum. Bed en badlinnen wordt verzorgd wat fijn was.
De keuken was prima voorzien maar een paar kleine pannen zou prettiger zijn. Maar 2 grote pannen en 2 koekenpannen. Alles was functioneel , ook gedateerd maar ook sommige dingen zoals de vloerbedekking wel aan vervanging toe. Het miste een bepaalde knusse sfeer.

The wife of the Manager was a pain. She spoke no English and was generally unhelpful.
