This was a really lovely property, quite well provided with all the required amenities for our four night September stay...we went as a couple but the house can easily accommodate six in the bedrooms with an extra temporary bed available in one of the lounges
Car parking is down a steep narrow path from roadside to ground floor level, with no room to turn anything but the smartest small car , reversing out onto the sometimes busy road was not the best, so reversing in became a thing...
The description says there's a pub in walking distance - it should make clear that the closest is a social club that allows non members BUT there are not pavements all the way and as mentioned above the road can be busy - boy racers take the blind bend at speed! The other pubs within Whaley Bridge are accessible BUT you do have the issue of walking to the canal through an unmarked road that crosses an industrial area...we ensured that we came back in daylight, otherwise take a torch ...Whaley Bridge pubs are worth the walk

Loads of space clean comfy beds, good location for travelling about. ,As we spent a rainy weekend here the large array of games books and CDs to use was a invaluable with the children and adults

This property is big and comfortable. It has everything you could need for a group stay.
It’s a bit tricky to access the drive straight from a busy road.
