Biennale Centrale

In an unbelievably good location between Arsenale and Giardini for the Venice Biennale, there were lots of restaurants, supermarkets and amenities close by. I knew the building had no lift, so that was ok. The apartment is well provisioned and the manager very friendly. Fantastic views.

No AC was difficult on hot nights, but there were lots of fans.

I found stains on all beds mattresses and immediately asked if there is a bedbugs infestation. I checked on internet and it was very likely. I could not stay and returned the keys and had to find another accommodation on a Sunday! A part of the building entrance’ ceiling is missing and there is a strong mold smell. I was told this is common in Venise but the new flat I rented was very clean. I do not recommend it! I did not stay even a night and they refused to reimburse me.

Für uns vier, war alles an dieser Wohnung perfekt. Wir fahren jedes Jahr nach Venedig und hatten immer eine andere Unterkunft. Doch dieses Mal war es ein absoluter Glücksfall für uns. In dieser Wohnung konnten wir uns richtig wohlfühlen und wir bedanken uns herzlich bei den Gastgebern.
