Good location in the heart of Westport
Charming old building
Available free parking
The staff is not welcoming nor friendly. We did not have fresh breakfast and options were poor. No equipment in the dorm : no individual light nor storage space, no plugs. Bunkbeds were not stable and very low. Showers did not work well.
7.0
Bed was comfy.
Free brekky included
Shower upstairs was cold, and I'd just been for a swim in the sea, so know what cold feels like. Gave it plenty of time to warm up, but it never did

nice clean. had a car park next to it which had free parking in the evening till morning like 8 AM. Big dining area. They clean bathrooms and shower area. a mirror in bedroom. separate bathrooms. lots of counter space next to sinks.
couldn’t sit upright in the bottom bunk without head on the top bunk. the shower and sink taps had boiling water coming in morning and i couldnt shower. i called them and they let me use the downstairs one which was nice because i had an early morning checkout and was getting late already because of this. I think the bathrooms should have temperature control levers, even if they do have a button for 10 second water. gravel outside the hostel so cant drag luggage so have to pick it up. their breakfast didnt have anything except tea. sockets not next to beds.

Very unique property, and centrally located near restaurants and pubs. Pizza down the street for dinner, great ice cream and late night shop for snacks, and a couple of really good options for a filling breakfast. Was really just looking for a place to sleep, that was affordable, and convenient. Hostel had been closed, the week preceding my visit, and it was starting to get cold at night. Borrowed the blanket and pillow from one of the empty beds in the room (I had an 8 person room to myself), and bundled up for a pretty good sleep. Had some party guys in the room next door, but they quieted down soon enough, that it didn't really bother me to much. Basic dormitory sleeping facility and bathrooms. Standard of what you would expect of a hostel; wasn't disappointed but wasn't wowed by it either. If I had been there in the warmer months, and not toward the end of November, I'm certain this location is always full, and much more lively and engaging for any traveler.
Be aware that it's paid parking on the street, and you will get ticketed, if you don't abide by the parking policy. Didn't utilize the kitchen option, but it is available if you want to prepare your own meals, and avoid some of the pricier restaurants in the area.

Great location, staff was friendly and had some very good recommendations.
Breakfast was included though there were only sweet options - not even butter for the toast. Kitchen in general is nice but not well equipped.

great location
basic but good for the price

I liked the location, it was very central. I also liked the kitchen facilities, and the restrooms were clean and spacious.
I think it would be quite helpful if the hostel eventually got some sort of locker storage, or little bunk lamps instead of the one harsh overhead light.

Quiet and comfortable bed
I hade to leave my breakfast in the refrigerator since the kitchen was locked even though I had told the check-in guy that i needed access at that time and he said it would be okay.

Fabulous location in the middle of town.
The building was stunning, it felt like I was staying in a historic building, and this was indeed the case.
Very friendly staff.
Basic breakfast offered.
Bed was comfortable.
Very few power sockets in the room. Available plugs were already claimed by other guests so I was unable to charge my phone or headphones.

The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great sleep
The coffee. Though I am a fussy coffee drinker and usually have my own with me but didn't on this occasion.

Friendly, laid back environment. Great location. Great parking.
I know its an old mill and the walls were made to keep the heat in trying to sleep was impossible, with only a tiny little window for air. The room was boiling hot.
Could do with one or two plug in fans
No sleep

Beautiful building and good location.

Location is super convenient, right in the town centre plenty nice pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. There's a car park next to the hostel 3 euro for 24 hours is very good value. Room was fine, bed was comfortable. There's a kitchen downstairs which is handy and some tables to sit and eat at
The shower set up is bizzare, the water comes put from the opposite side to the button and its impossible to not soak all your belongings as there's nowhere to place your towel except on the ground. The noise levels were very bad late into the night. They really need security of some sort. I stayed on a Monday night and thought it would be reasonably quiet but it was excessively noise.
