Mira and Ivan were sweet and welcoming hosts. Although we didn't speak the same language, we were able to figure out the important things. The room was comfortable, the hot water worked very well in the shower, and the patio was really nice. The shared kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The location was also really perfect for visiting Paklenica National Park- a 6 minute drive to the entrance. It was also very walkable to some good restaurants and groceries, as well as close drives to several beaches. Also, it was great to have a dedicated parking spot on the property. I would definitely stay here again if coming back to visit Paklenica!
The only thing that didn't make it a 10 was that the pillows were very full and firm, which was not very comfortable for me to sleep. I used my travel pillow instead and it worked out. I know that some people can sleep on any kind of pillow and this won't be an issue, but these pillows were just too full for my neck to be comfortable. Otherwise, this lodging was excellent and I would still highly recommend it!

First of all, the apartment you get is very well furnished and large. Honestly, at the price we paid (55 EUR for one night), it almost feels like stealing from the hosts. The rooms are very clean, every appliance works perfectly, and with three separate rooms (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom), you've got space aplenty. Secondly, the hosts are very VERY hospitable. Just take into account that 1) they don't speak any English (German is their preferred second language) and 2) you can ONLY pay cash. Then again, paying cash is a bit of a given in the region, so it's hard to fault them for this. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a home-made liquor and sweets. As far as publicized amenities go, I can confirm the WIFI worked perfectly, and they do have free private parking on site. Honestly, I would definitely consider going back if we ever trave the Dalmatian coast again.
