Nice receptionist, easy checkin, big outdoor area with lots of seating.
Building standard, paint finish, bed quality, pool clarity etc, is a bit on the low end.

The hostal is light and airy with a lovely outside area and very comfortable lounge. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. Our flight isn't until 10pm tonight so they let us leave our baggage at the hostal for the day as well as use the lounge before we go to the airport.
The local bus service is brilliant so we could get to El Retiro Park within 30 minutes and used the metro and bus to get from Avenida de America bus station within 30 minutes too. The stay has exceeded expectations as it has been one of the cheapest places we have stayed in Spain or Portugal.

Location was great for getting to Barajas airport. The room was very spacious. There was no problem even though we turned up at 0300!
Nothing to say really ..... We literally turned up at 0300, got some sleep and left at 0800.

The room and private bathroom were large, and the staff were very nice. We really appreciated how peaceful and safe the area is — walking with our kids felt completely worry-free.
The only downsides were the noisy AC and the pool not being properly cleaned, which unfortunately led to an eye infection after swimming.
