Close to the city
Bed wasn’t very comfortable and only got 2 pillows for 2 people and they were flat

Upgraded from a single to a twin room, with washbasin, very happy with that.
Toilet roll seemed to be running out very soon, and was not clear to me how to get more. As I get up v early for work (4:30) am not confident I could have got hold of more if it had run out on my watch.

Convenient location for the aquatics centre, with own off street parking, and at a sensible price. Other options nearby that weekend were ridiculous money. Friendly welcome, and we were in an attic room that had a nice view of the park opposite. Shower was decent as well, and bed comfortable.
Hotel was a bit past its best. Room had some damage - cupboard doors, desk surface, blinds etc. and fridge was near useless. But given the lower cost, nothing that was a serious issue.
