Natra Bintan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

Had a wonderful stay at Natra Bintan! The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The resort provides complimentary return transfers to Lagoi Ferry Terminal, and the hotel taxi service was also very convenient for getting around. The facilities were great, and the views were absolutely beautiful. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay. Would definitely come back! ❤️

Resort is filled with activities to participate.

Shower amenities can be maintained better. Room can be improved. Toielt light was not able to switch on, aircon and toilet light were cut off in the middle of e night.

Clean and maintenance upkeep is tip top. I’d see hotel crews sweeping dried leaves, greasing metal poles etc. Staff were friendly and prompt in arranging buggy transportation, replying Whatsapp messages to facilitate bookings or answer our general queries to help plan the day’s activities. Special thanks to Pak Harry and Pak Nugie for the hospitality ensuring we have delicious food throughout our stay at the resort.

All is good.

The good: a glamping vibe and a huge pool, together with most staff being helpful. The decoration is tasteful and the toiletries are decent.

The bad: there's literally nothing to do outside the resort, so grabbing a taxi is a must. The lagoon is huge but you can only swim in 10% of it, because the lifesavers will tell you insistently you have to be next to the rope - even if the pool is empty! The facilities are aging to the point that our toilet was twice broken and the beach chairs fell apart. There were ants invading the outdoor bathroom but the staff was helpful to clean. Also, keep in mind there are no windows in the tent, so it feels a bit claustrophobic. We also asked the staff to help us buy the tickets to the ferry, just to be told that unless we had cash in hand, we'd better go to the terminal ourselves - I thought the point of a concierge was to be useful? The restaurant at the premises is OK but we opted for another one in the vicinity - just better food and service. Lastly, because the premises are under a air corridor to Singapore, there are planes roaring at 10000 feet multiple times per hour; keep in mind if you want peace and quiet. This is definitely not a 5* experience and I'm wondering how are they part of the Marriott portfolio.
