Perfect for a small family or group of friends, this lovely vacation rental can accommodate up to four guests and is just steps from local beaches and attractions. The bright, open floor plan at Keauhou Resort #113 includes an air conditioned living room with inviting seating options (one of which is a queen sleeper sofa) and a flat-screen television with a DVD player. Wireless internet is also provided for your entertainment, and a washer and dryer are handy for your convenience. The primary bedroom comes complete with a luxurious king-size bed, television, split system A/C unit, and access to its own shaded lanai, and the unit has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate vanity. After preparing a meal in the fully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, guests can gather at the dining table with seating for four to enjoy a relaxing meal together at home. If you prefer an al fresco dining experience, step out onto the private lanai. Patio seating is positioned so you can unwind in the fresh air with a mai tai while the sun sets over the ocean. Depending on the season in which you visit, you might even spot spinner dolphins playing in the Pacific! Keauhou Resort has a large, gated pool area for your use, surrounded by lounge chairs for sunbathing. The unit also offers one assigned parking space. The place as advertised. We loved the view and quietness. It is clean, well maintained, and spacious. Kitchen is fully stocked with basics. We would suggest to replace the mattress and pillows. Otherwise, we are very happy 😊 Thank you.

The photos, descriptions, and reviews were all accurate -- this is a quiet, well maintained home with a great kitchen and an amazing view. My wife and I had a lovely stay here.
We discovered a walking shortcut through the pool area to get to the nearby mall for happy hour at Tropics. And the KTA supermarket had great stuff at reasonable prices.
The pool is really great too. All in all a wonderful stay.

From the beautiful view of the ocean sunsets to the comfortable furnishings and well-equipped kitchen, this was the perfect place to enjoy our week on the island.

Such a beautiful location. Private, quiet and secure. The surrounding landscape is well maintained with a variety of native plants and blooming flowers. The unit contains what is required and not extra knick knacks. Reserving was easy and any requests were quickly addressed. I would definetely stay here again. Good for a couple of one person.

I've stayed in Hawaii many times and this is one of the few times a place exceeded my expectations. It feels so much bigger than a one bedroom, and the lanais (porches) were amazing with amazing views. It is centrally located, quiet, and more private than I expected in a condo enclave.
The downstairs bedroom is large and airy. Our son stayed on the pull-out couch and thought it was totally comfortable. There are plenty of implements in the kitchen for cooking. We would 100% stay there again.

This location with its beautiful, peaceful view of lush plants and the ocean and sunset is the best we found staying in at least 6 different condo complexes throughout Keauhou-Kona area over the years. So close to the shopping center with its grocery store, drug store, restaurants, theater... is perfect for providing everything you might need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful place in an excellent location. Walkable to the beach, shopping center. We loved the view from the upper lanai and the pools in the complex! Also appreciated all the beach gear and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Nice rental close to beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. Everything works well, including AC for each level. Bathroom and bedroom are on lower level, so you need to be able to regularly use the stairs. Nice bag of beach gear including chairs, snorkels and umbrella.

We have stayed at Keahou resort many times, we even stayed in this Condo years ago, before Reno’s. Owners have done a good job updating with taste and thought. This is the only time we have come across a unit with air conditioning, what a bonus! The views off the 2 lanais are breathtaking! The gardens are true Hawaii. Only 2 things to mention, they need to buy a small pot for oatmeal, etc as a lot of couples would be renting a 1 bedroom place, there were only larger pots for cooking. The other issue, big disappointment for us, as we had enjoyed barbecue on our own lanai before, they are now central. That was one of the unique features of Keahou resort that we enjoyed. It’s still my favorite place though, my happy place.

The property was in a perfect location for access to all the sites on the Big Island. We easily walked to the marina to board the Fairwinds for a snorkel trip to Kealakekua Bay! The lanai has a beautiful view of the ocean and of the tropical landscape surrounding the condo and was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bed was so comfortable we slept better than at home. We will be back!

Everything you would ever need is in this lovely condo. We stayed 10 days and never heard or saw our neighbors. The sunsets are amazing. One suggestion would be that they put in an upstairs air conditioner. We stayed home one day and it was too hot to be upstairs…it would have been nice to take advantage of the upstairs more.

Highly recommend staying at this condo! It’s a perfect setting for a couple. Condo is situated at a high enough elevation to view the sunset over the condos below, but close enough to walk to the ocean in 5 minutes (also great for sunsets!). Easy walking access to the snorkel boats to Captain Cook monument (which is a highly recommended day trip!) Parking is right outside the front door, which was very convenient. Just far enough away from downtown Kona, but close enough to be there in 10 minutes for a meal or poke. Condo is fully stocked with all you need for your stay: kitchenware, beach towels, washer/dryer, first aid kit, soaps, yoga mat, etc. A/C in the downstairs bedroom was a major plus. Only downside is the top floor gets hot during the mid- to late afternoon on sunny days, so plan to be on the lanai or pool/beach, what an inconvenience ;-) Easy to recommend!

Everything you need
We loved our short time on the property and wished we could have stayed longer. Clean, well-furnished and well-provisioned with anything you might need for cooking, sleeping, for the beach and for the pool. Near Keauhou Bay (walking distance) if you want sea adventures like snorkeling tours, manta ray dives, other rentals. Also, beautiful palm tree and ocean view on the lanai.

Property is nicely located. A/C is only in the one bedroom. Quite a few areas of dust that I hope get addressed. Everything else was great. Property management was very helpful. Finding the location was not the easiest the first time.

This was my 1st visit to the Big Island. Staying at 113 certainly set the hook for my coming back. It’s a comfortable distance from the airport and Kailua-Kona. It’s also convenient for exploring all the way to the Southern tip. The view from our deck was beautiful and relaxing. The unit itself was nicely stocked with amenities; cooking tools, 2 nice TV’s (don’t know if they actually work as we never turned them on, LOL), beach supplies, laundry supplies, etc.
The unit is a split level 1 bedroom so if stairs are an issue this might not be the best unit for you. The bedroom, bathroom & laundry are all on the ground level, maybe 10 steps down from the entry. The kitchen, dining, living area are on level 2, about 10 steps up from the entry.
As previously mentioned in the description of the unit and in reviews; there is only one portable air conditioner and that is nicely set up in the bedroom. We only ever used it for maybe 15 minutes to cool the bedroom before sleep. We are from the PNW so are used to a cool bedroom. If the air conditioner had not been there we could have slept with just the ceiling fan. By the way the fan is the quietest fan I’ve ever experienced, no sound at all!!
We only had time to use the pool area once and I really regret that!! The area is modest in size but well appointed with two pools. I really appreciated that one was in full sun while the other in the shade at mid-afternoon - great for those wanting to avoid too much sun.
Bring binoculars!! There was lots of activity on the water as viewed from the upper deck but too far to really appreciate without binoculars. Also, there are many birds in the trees/foliage.

While the complex was further from the water than I thought, it had a great view of the ocean over nicely landscaped gardens from the patios. It was also very convenient location for day trips on the Kona coast and groceries (the mall is 300m away). The place was well provisioned with kitchen supplies, beach gear, soaps, etc. The condition was excellent. Looks like it was remodelled in the past few years. The swimming pool area was small but nice. No hot tub or tennis courts, but we found public courts in town that were in Good condition and not too busy. Nice bed; didn’t try the pull out in the main living area. Perfect size for a couple or small family. We would definitely come back here.
