Travelled up with my sister as we were doing the R2 in the park Stirling so had a 3 night stay
Perfect location, rooms were really nice and cleaned each day (although they did forget to leave milk on the Saturday) - the Coorie-in restaurant was closed so couldn't have a cuppa tea!
Overall, an excellent place to stay and very reasonably priced - would definitely stay again
The only downfall, is that the restaurant doesn't do breakfast until the hours between 11am - 1pm which was a bit bizarre but there was a lovely little cafe a few doors down that opened at 9am but closed on Sunday

Very clean, comfy beds and good location to visit family
WiFi was up and down. May just have been the room I was in at the back that did not have a good signal.

The room itself was very good. Very clean with all the facilities you needed.
It was a Friday night and there was a lot of street noise from other bars and drinks shouting til the early hours. This was not the fault of the Black Bull and so was beyond their control.

Not much
Poor reception upon arrival. Manager was away and the young staff in the pub tried to help but weren’t briefed on how to handle check in.
Room was up a grubby exterior staircase. The security door was broken so access was open to all comers.
Not a great part of town and expensive for what it was.
