Location is excellent - right in the old town, but down a quiet side street. Just a few minutes down some stairs nearby to the beach. We were in the room on the top floor so it was lovely and quiet, great for sleeping. The room had aircon, a fridge, tea/coffee facilities and lots of space for drying wet beach stuff near the terrace. The hosts were very helpful and responsive over messaging - thank you for a lovely stay!
The bed was a little soft and creaky. The room was up quite a lot of steps, but we knew about that in advance so that wasn’t a surprise (the steps were a good little work out after dinner!)

Absolutely amazing stay! The apartment was right in the heart of Tropea, close to everything you could possibly need. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having umbrellas available to borrow was also a huge plus! The owners were lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back if we visit Tropea again!

The places at the super central location—everything is close, uh, restaurants and stuff like that—the beach is 10-15 minutes away, depends on how fast you walk and depends on how much you stop and stuff like that. But if you want, you can get it in 10, 10 minutes. Uh, just because of the stairs. Uh, so that's—that's really, uh, it was very, very clean. It was—it had air conditioning, which was essential because it was super, super hot while we were there. And yeah, everything was great.
What I didn't like is that just below the terrace where we were—uh, when—where we were, because there are a lot of apartments, but the one that we got has a restaurant below. And usually they should keep it down after 10:00 PM, but they kept it down until they didn't keep it down until 1:00 AM. And every 30 seconds, if it's—if it's dinner time, every 30 seconds when an order is ready, there's a bell that rings for the servers to come and get it and give it to the people. And that's every 30 seconds, from 7:00 PM to, like, 1:00 AM. Or 12:00, I don't know, exactly, but if you're with a child, ask specifically which room did you get, because there are rooms where this will not be a problem, but for me it was.
