Super friendly family. So good to see them again. Location is fantastic. Basic accommodation for a great price.Lovely big balcony.
The rooms could do with a little bit of updating. Add stand up fans to rooms with no aircon.

Amazing roomy and comfortable full size APARTMENT with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and private bathroom for the price of a small room in other places! A very short walk to get food, drinks, shopping and The Beach! The host was cordial, polite and friendly. Overall a great value for the money!
Well… honestly the beach was pretty full, very crowded, with primarily foreign tourists … from all over the world… but mostly Russian speakers! The businesses, restaurants and shops nearby had more “Russian signs” than in English!?! I didn’t think about that until it hit me in the face — but I felt more like I was in a Russian country than Sri Lanka?!? (I preferred the beaches in Tangelle!)

Just returned from 2 weeks at Citadel. My husband and I love this accommodation. Fantastic location 1minute walk to the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Great large apartment with fabulous balcony and cooking area from which we loved to watch the wildlife. Powerful fan, large wet room, BIG bed. The family who own Citadel are just lovely and are there for you as much or little as you want/need. Thank you for a fabulous stay 😊
