HORRIBLE STAY!

Dear Booking.com, I have used your service a lot over the last years, and especially over the last 1.5 years while I was enjoying a ‘Travel Year’. I really appreciate Booking.com and my experiences so far have been very nice, especially your customer service has been extremely hands-on and superior. That is the reason why I need to point out this booking. As you might see there was an issue about a listed bedroom that actually didn’t exist. However, this was solved with your help and the owner provided me with an appropriate discount on this issue. But there was a lot more to come, and as it is listed on your website / app, I think you should know what I experienced, as your brand name and reputation is somewhat linked to this apartment. So, I will start with the positives. The apartment has a great location and also the view from the terrace is amazing. Even though there was a busy road in front of it, inside it was not noisy at all. Unfortunately, these are all the nice things I have to say, and I am more than confused seeing all these positive reviews. There are mostly 8, 9, 10, but when I read the comments a number of people had negatives to highlight. I find it cheeky charging for sheets and towels in the first place, but actually much worse is then providing just one pillow case and also very old low quality sheets / towels. I would not provide these to anyone. In general my biggest issue was cleanliness. There were a lot of hairs on the sofa bed, the bathroom and the floor. Also, I would never expect to find a dirty used sponge in the kitchen. the plates had lots of flaws and there was a dirty glass in the cupboard. No wash up liquid or hand soap provided. The absolute worst and the reason why in my entire life time I would never ever stay there again was the mattress of the sofa bed (pictures attached). It looked as if there was mold all over it and it generally looked disgusting.

Not an apartment.Nice location. Lovely beach. Completely overpriced local shop. Wouldn’t go again.

Location. Cleanliness

It was so greedy after charging for accommodation and 65 cleaning to charge 15 euros for old sheets and one pillowcase and towel. A disgrace. You offer a washing machine which I washed the sheets. They were old and too much to ask for two pillowcases for one person. Really? Also for one week stay do I really have to provide the most basic of cleaning materials, rubbish bags, cleaning sponges, sponges . It’s also advertised as an apartment. It’s a put up sofa. There is no bedroom.

A great place to stay

Very good apartment with beautiful sea view, equipped with all needed. It's located in a quiet area, very close to the 2 sandy beaches. There are some restaurants and grocery shops around and about 20 minutes walk to the Old city with all the entertainment you might have there. A very friendly reception lady who met and kindly provided with local tips and tricks. I would definitely come back to this place next time.

location for the beach is excellent. it is a bit of a walk to the town centre about 20 mins which was a bit long for us

location and cleanliness and the outside space.

the bed bath was a bit uncomfortable. we recommended a mattress topper and the owner was grateful we gave the feedback.

Exceptional

Excellent location. Warm welcome from Tina. Beautiful views from apartment and loved having a balcony. Beach less than 100yds and beach chairs and parosol available to use.
