Bel endroit près de la plage et des lieux de sortie.

L'emplacement idéal. L'ambiance du lieu. Très grand "appartement" duplex. Chambres avec clim

Cuisine, salle de bain et assises extérieures vieillottes. Aucun condiment dans la cuisine. Électricité aléatoire- plus de clim et ventilation (une coupure de 23h à 9h)

Un bon rapport qualité/prix, une végétation luxuriante, la proximité avec l’accès à la plage, la gentillesse du personnel!

Voisinage bruyant pour les chambres du bas (a minima) les maisons sont en bois et on entends les gens au dessus marcher… Des équipements un peu vieillots qui mériteraient un coup de neuf (porte fenêtre qui ferme très mal et salle de bain)

Beautiful accommodation in great location

Absolutely beautiful accommodation. We had the maisonette property that had a private roof terrace with an outdoor kitchen area. Lovely pool to cool off. Two minutes from the beach and from restaurants and bars. Great find. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Camping next to a road dirty with bugs and bad management

The location was OK but still not on the beach. For the price here I would’ve much preferred something on the beach.

The place was about the equivalent to camping, open areas all over the house allows bugs to roam free, and very hot in the living spaces. Hotel manager scams you by demanding that you pay in cash so they can avoid the extra 20% that the government charges. Then tries to tell me that they are making it cheaper by charging cash. So now I have to go to the ATM and pay an extra $14 to get them cash. If it was another 20% more expensive, I wouldn’t of booked it.

Exceptional

the studio is very stylish decorated and there is so much space to enjoy the beautiful accommodation as well as the pool area! I highly recommend to come here and relax from a surf, go for dinner or have a cafe on the opposite at anais … definitely I come back

the rental surf boards could get a little more attention and care :)

Disappointing

Dirty! We found a lot of big cockroaches in the kitchen and in our room. One night I woke up with one in my bed

Great Lodge Hotel, friendly staff and close to beach, restos and bars!

Cozy, spacious and clean apartment! Beach 5 min walk. The whole hotel area very nice!

The apartment we stayed in was huge, it's not shown on any of the photos. It was a separate building a minutes walk up the hill from the main Griss Lodge accommodation. A big bedroom and bathroom on the first floor then an open air kitchen and lounge terrace on the top floor of the building. There were howler monkeys in the trees right next to the top floor in the morning which was awesome to see ( just don't park your car under the trees as it'll get covered in monkey poo). There's a path with beach access directly across the main "road". Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance (cafe Cevicheria is amazing). Don't attempt to drive here unless you have a 4x4 with reasonable ground clearance, the main road/track is full of pot holes and extremely rough and muddy in places (Nov 2022).

Parking directly outside the apartment would have been convenient, it was just a muddy pit when were there.

Relaxed "bungalow"-style vibes, close to beach/main street & super comfortable with friendly team!

Accommodations and entire property is beautiful! Loved the spacious, well-decorated and comfortable areas (the bed is amazing), both indoors & outdoors, as well as the shared kitchen space, which was surprisingly equipped, though I wish there were basic cooking ingredients like oil and salt & pepper. Across the street from a public entrance to the beach and close to a handful of eateries, shops and activities. Staff was super friendly, kind and hospitable and as a solo traveler, I felt especially safe and comfortable.

Upstairs noise and sound directly above my room was quite loud... not sure if there is a family living up there (with a dog) or they were visiting but it would be barely 6:30 AM and I could already hear lots of moving and walking around. Mid-day, I could hear the kids running around above me and stomping all over the floors that the room would basically be shaking. If I was going to stay here for more than a day or two, I would've said something, but I went in-and-out and regardless, I wouldn't hesitate staying here anyways. I still loved it here.

Beautiful property

We had the room (not one of the houses) with shared kitchen. The kitchen was super nice, open concept and very spacious and even though it was shared with one other room (not with the whole hotel, just another double room), there were separate eating areas, so no big deal at all (in fact we barely saw the other guests) - we truly loved the kitchen! Our room was cozy and nicely decorated, everything worked fine and bed was comfy. It was also cleaned daily. Everybody on the staff and owners were super friendly and easy going. The landscaping, pool and common areas are beautiful and with plenty of seating area for everyone to have their own space. One can tell lots of love and attention is put in this place. The footpath to the beach is right in front of Griss - I did feel as if I was in a beach front property as it was such a short walk... Super convenient! There's a surfboard rack in the room - super super useful!

The bathroom had no windows/ventilation and shower area was a bit small.

Fun place with great people and location make sure to stay Near the pool for peace and quiet.

The staff was excellent Friendly and helpful. The pool and common area is beautiful cool and refreshing. There was good security and the place was extremely safe feeling. The Internet was excellent.There was AC in the bedrooms which was comfortable comfortable for sleeping. Or to escape any midday heat with a siesta!

The lighting in upstairs unit 2 was terrible, had to use a headlight for cooking at night. Bring a sharp knife! The dining area light has wiring issue. The one thing which they had no control over, is the Grinding from the fabrication Shop next to buildings 1,2 and 3 starting 7am!😬 If you stay in those, Get up early and go surfing!!!

A great place to relax and enjoy the surf, the sun and the sand.

Great location!Path to beach is right across the street and lots of restaurants nearby. The property felt safe and everyone who worked there was so kind.

They only accept cash payment.
