The hostess was so welcoming and eager to get everything ready even though we were there a little earlier than expected. Our room was large with high ceilings and the aircon worked well. Everything was clean and comfortable. Lovely terrace for eating pastries and drinking coffee in the mornings, washing and drying machines worked well and kitchen was good. Nice 15 min walk to the beach and so close to old town.
Bathroom fan was a little weak

the location was perfect, there were washing machine facilities, and a lovely terrace. there was a fridge in my room which was ideal for keeping things safe, along with a locker.
i was on the top floor and the shower head wasn’t connected to the wall, so i had to hold it myself. not the worst thing in the world but considering the amount i paid, i would expect it to be hassle free. i would also have expected more storage in the room, and things like hooks on the wall to hang towels/ wet clothes.

Location is really good and a lady who runs it is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean. This is not a hotel so as long as one is fine with this and has the adequate expectations is a good value for money.
Probably bed mattress could be better, but this depends on what one prefers.

The room was central and I had access to a small kitchenette with fridge etc.
It was difficult to get the attention of the concierge - I was ringing for about 15 minutes - not what you want after 15 hours on the train. There was a problem with the room so they put me in a little apartment just round the corner which smelled very strongly of cleaning products and damp. An iron was eventually available on request. Fine for a pit-stop but lacking in charm.
