This is a lovely historic building containing 24 apartments. We had a (far from) standard apartment on the 4th floor which required a climb up stairs as the lift only reaches the 3rd floor. The staircase is wide and consists or around 20 steps which may pose a problem if you have heavy/lots of luggage or mobility problems. The apartment was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean and characterful with lots of beams. It also has a very steep staircase to a mezzanine level, second double bed that you would need to be sure-footed and sober to tackle, especially climbing down! The bathroom was spacious with plenty of storage, had shower gel/shampoo and hand soap. There was a bath with shower over which may be hard to access if you have mobility issues or have little legs! There were 2 dormer windows looking out over Trziste street and the rooftop restaurant of the Aria Hotel and up to the Petrin Tower. The apartment also had very welcome air con. There was a Nespresso machine with a selection of coffees and teas, creamer and sugar replenished daily. We also had a cooking hob and a fridge. There were plenty of utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and glassware. The building is located right in Malostranska Square, just steps from trams and buses (which are cheap and plentiful) and surrounded by restaurants and bars. That said, it's surprisingly quiet at night-time. This was our 3rd consecutive year visiting Prague and booked the Three Golden Crowns when our previous accommodation wasn't available. This has now taken the number one spot due to it's location and space and the excellent staff who are efficient, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay and visit. Tip: the key to the building also allows you access to the back door on Trziste street too.
Not all the apartments have the same amenities so we were expecting a microwave and washing machine - we had neither in our particular apartment. It didn't spoil our stay but it's something to consider when booking and specifically request if it's important to you.

Fabulous location, gorgeous 14th century building with all the modern construction for a great stay.
Air conditioning a bit clunky and noisy, but effective, hard for a very old building.

There were many kids vaping, fighting, and generally causing a nuisance. They were being extremely loud, fist-fighting, running around, and even jumping around on the escalator. Some of them were also sitting on the staircase and blocking the walkway, making it difficult to pass. I’m not sure why the situation was like that, especially since the neighbourhood itself seemed quite
