The green around the property and the view.

The property is nice. Placed on top of a hill with a lot of green around. Unfortunately though the location is very difficult to reach. When I booked I saw the possibility of renting bikes directly from the owner so I thought that could be a good idea as I didn’t want to drive. On the day of the arrival the daughter of the owner called me asking if I needed a car or motorcycle to rent I said I didn’t but that I was interested in renting bikes. At that moment she mentioned that bikes would not be a good idea since the property was on top of a hill with a unsurfaced and steep road but that they were happy to offer a shuttle service. They were always available picking us up and down but if I knew the location was basically not accessible by bike or walking I would have not booked there. We walked down and up the hill once and it was not a pleasant experience. At night the road is pitch black and there are a few dogs in other villas along the road that constantly bark at you as they are guard dogs! So for me even though the place was nice the experience was not positive as I had to rely on the owner to come back to the property and to go out. A couple of times we had to wait over 30 mins for them to come and pick us up. The room could do with a bit more amenities like a small fridge in the room, ( one was available outside the room but was not taken care of as on the outside was filthy and inside we found a peach that must have been several weeks old). No bin in the room and toilet paper that was just enough for the first 1.5 days, a hands soap that was already finished by the end of the first day. Overall I would not recommend it unless you rent a car to get access to the property ( bear in mind the road is very very steep and full of curves, I’d only suggest it to confident drivers ).

The environment of this hotel is really nice and relatively private. I think what I will miss most is Dona’s service. She is the daughter of the owner, and she can help me solve any problem.

The only way to reach this hotel is a very steep slope.

Everything was so wonderful. The view is spectacular, the host Donna and her father were so generous and kind. The rooms were clean and spacious. The whole place felt like a home away from home. We didn’t want to leave and we will certainly be returning.

The WiFi ! It only worked on the terrace and didn’t reach our room but sometimes it’s good to “switch off”

Absolutely beautiful view with exotic plants and lovely surroundings. Small apartments and rooms around a central home with outstanding hosts. clean pool - and did I say the views!

Guests should know this is more a local stay so it won't have all the amenities some people crave (bar, etc.). Luckily, I didn't want those anyway! Several guests comment on the hill to get up there - be aware this has also a narrow wall. Small cars may not have enough gusto to push hard, really big cars might not get through! Nevertheless it worked for us and the ride up was worth it - but be prepared!

This is the perfect spot if you want to experience Ischia as a local and not as a simple tourist. The location of the residence is on a hill which is just 10 minutes away by car from Forio, where all main ferries stop; this gives a pretty nice balance between quietness and possibility to visit the main attractions of the island in an easy way. You are surrounded by lush and green vegetation and spectacular views on the bays, so that we could enjoy awesome sunsets and sunshines everyday. The pool is also very nice and clean, as well as our room, which came with a little balcony where we could enjoy some lunch. Above all, the place is run by amazing people: Raffaele and Donatella, his daughter, are simply amazing hosts! It is clear that this is not a job for them but rather passion, they share so much that you become part of the family! We had plenty of talks on the island history and features and Raffaele explained us so many things that we want to open our own B&B now :D They cook the products that they cultivate from their land, everything is super fresh and tasty, breakfast is incredibly generous and good and they also organise dinners on demand - which I would recommend because it was the best dinner we had on the island! All in all, an awesome place, one that does not offer a simple holiday but rather a full experience that make you rest and appreciate life at the same time!

One of the best experience we have. The location is very peaceful and beautiful, the best place to relax and we have witnessed the best sunset. The staff was freindly and honest, we will surely comeback to this place. I recommend this place it's a five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me!!!

hello Dona, thank you for being able to be with you, in your wonderful accommodation, we felt at home and we were great taken care of. the place is unique, quiet and cozy. Having breakfast with a wonderful view and having dinner at sunset over the sea was a unique experience for us. Of course we used the pool every day and we really enjoyed it. The room was clean and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. I really liked that it was higher in the mountains and we were by the sea by car in 5 minutes. Ideal for our family vacation. When we return to Ischia we will definitely return to this accommodation. We wish you much success
