Really great location within walking distance to anywhere you’d want to go. Friendly staff, comfortable and quiet room and a great smelling lobby ;)

Good location, easy to walk to lots of places. Easy check in. Room walls quite thin, so can hear a lot of people moving around.
Thin walls, so can hear everything - when people come in late, it can be very noisy.

Ended up staying here last minute, and the beds were super comfortable. Staff also worked with me to let me in after hours which I really appreciated.

The place is very comfortable, clean and the room even has a washing machine in the balcony. Very good value for the price.
If checking in after 6pm, they expect the fees to be remitted to them beforehand, even if you’re a foreigner without a Taiwan bank account.
Prior to checking in, they were asking me to remit the fees to them - I told them that I didn’t have a Taiwan bank account and I am a tourist. They asked me to find a platform to do so. They do not accept cards, making it very INCONVENIENT and TROUBLESOME.
Fine, I remitted the amount via Revolut as an overseas transfer from Singapore and told them it’ll take 3 - 5 working days.
It was such a hassle having to keep checking if the SWIFT transfer has completed and the amount has been credited into their account.
I even put a cash deposit of the hotel fees the day after I reached as the overseas transfer hasn’t gone in.
On the last day just before I checked out, the overseas transfer still has NOT completed and I was prepared to forfeit my additional cash deposit. - at least the staff went to check with their bank and the amount is indeed transferred but takes sometime as it was in SGD.
