The apartment offered everything anyone could wish for and was perfectly situated.

This was a self catering apartment. The facilities were brilliant, .. dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, bath with shower over. Henri was the perfect host giving us all the local information on where to visit, restaurants to go to etc. etc. He could not have done more to ensure we enjoyed the perfect holiday and was very generous with his time and items left in the apartment for us - coffee capsules, loo rolls, pegs and airer etc. etc He set the free wifi up for us and even set the television to BBC Entertainment for us. Couldn't fault him or the apartment. Thank you Henri!

Fabulous apartment in a great location with a great host

This is a fabulous apartment in a great location. Bright, spacious and modern and spotlessly clean. Alot of thought had gone into the guests' comfort by providing bathroom, kitchen and cleaning necessities including washing up liquid, washing machine/dishwasher detergent, cleaning products and spare bin liners which made everything very convenient. It is within very easy walking distance to the train station but there is parking if you come with a car also. It is just a stone's throw from the port and another minute walk to the beach. From there, it is a fabulous walk along the sea promenade to the main town centre with a host of restaurants and cafés. There is a daily food market in the main town which is wonderful to stock up on delicious bread, meat, cheese and fresh fruit and veg. If you don't want to go into the main town, there are local restaurants to suit all budgets around the apartment and also a handy local pizza place if you just want to relax and stay in, perhaps eat out on the small apartment balcony. Boat trips around the area leave from either the port area, just a quick few minutes walk away, or from the main jetty in the town centre which is just a little further on, so it has great access to all the amenities. The bonus for this apartment is the great host, Henri, who made everything so easy, even going so far as to pick us up from the train station! Spare adaptors and cables were provided in case you had forgotten anything. Wifi worked great and there are lots of other gadgets such as Chromecast if you want to take advantage of them. All in all, this is a great apartment, with easy access to everything on foot, in a quiet area with a very helpful host.

There is very little not to like about this apartment but if I was to pick something I'd suggest adding a higher shower hook in the bathroom.

A real gem...

Very clean, fantastic host, secured parking, bright & light apartment, great amenities, amazing location near the marina and many good restaurants nearby. About 3 minutes by car to the center of Arcachon. And a very reasonable price too!
