Garden and the suite.

We recently stayed at The Sandpiper in Barbados and unfortunately felt that it did not offer good value for the price paid. While the property is well maintained and has a pleasant garden setting, the overall positioning does not justify the high rates. The beach area is very small, with loungers placed extremely close to each other, and the presence of a large neighboring structure significantly detracts from the natural beauty and sense of exclusivity one would expect. The photo shown on Booking does not reflect the actual beach, which is of low quality and has an unsightly large structure next to it. Despite I bought ocean view and I asked for them I god a suite far from the beach since the complex has just 2 suite on the beach. The restaurant experience was also disappointing. While the setting is nice, the food quality was average and not in line with the standards or pricing of the hotel. Most notably, we found the level of service inconsistent. Although staff were generally polite, there was a lack of attentiveness and genuine customer care that one would expect from a hotel in this category. Overall, while the hotel has its charms, we felt it falls short in delivering the level of experience and service that its pricing suggests.
