Amazing place to stay. The location is fantastic. Not too busy and very lovely to walk to. The staff are exceptional. They had extra amenities ready (frozen water bottles to help with the heat) as we headed out for the day. Breakfast was prompt and delicious! And absolutely lovely place to stay during our time in Kyoto!

This was one of the LARGEST and best furnished rooms of our recent trip to Japan. The traditional bath in the room was lovely, and there was tons of space to organize our bags before leaving Japan. It's located near a 7-11 and next door is a craft brewery. I was blown away by the value for what we paid.
It was a little further from the train/subway stations than we would have liked. In summer, it made it harder to get around. Checking in was not as intuitive as it could have been. You have to check an email for a code to access the hotel before you even get in.
