Rooms were comfortable and clean - as you would expect from Novotel; staff was outstanding was able to accommodate an extra day despite hotel being full. Parking is available. Good breakfast.

The staff were very helpful, the breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Room service was excellent and changes of towels every day of our stay. Secure underground parking at an excellent cost.
The restaurant could have been open on Saturday & Sundays but we were given a excellent list of places to eat within walking distance.

Great room design, clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast spread.
I got really fed up with the overall standard of service in this region of France and I bumped heads with a member of staff at L'Admiral at Novotel who rather had rather than guiding me to a table with a menu and taking a drinks order, told me to go out to the terrace via the reception and left me waiting for ten minutes...I lost my temper for which I later apologised. Food was appallingly bad, atmosphere was like a morgue.. Barr one or two restaurants I found no smiles or friendly greeting from French staff, no urgency, slow to take order, no check back, no drinks re-ordering, limited and bland menu crepes, moules and soft potato fries... Novotel/ Accor does your service meet international standards or follow the regional trend?
