Located in Broke, this attractive house for $553 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Bonn Abbey is the perfect place to relax and indulge yourself. The Abbey is located in the picturesque village of Broke, surrounded by wonderful cellar doors and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to the heart of the Hunter Valley. The soaring cathedral ceilings and exposed timer beams make you feel as though you have been transported to a Cotswold village in England. Luxuriously furnished, Bonn Abbey can sleep 6-12 people, making it perfect for a group of friends or family whilst remaining intimate enough for smaller groups. Bonn Abbey's large living room has a magnificent huge open fire, sit back, relax and enjoy this wonderful house whatever the weather outside. With features that include a spectacular rural outlook, gourmet kitchen, reverse cycle air conditioning, BBQ, modern double spa bath and antique claw foot bath, huge TV and entertainment unit a WIFI Sound System and free wireless internet - this is the perfect getaway. Relax and enjoy dinner around the large oak table or sit on the verandah at the rustic hardwood setting and enjoy breakfast with the birds at the same time, looking over the Brokenback ranges. You will be amazed at the stars in the night sky. Many of the features of this wonderful house have a story to tell. The soaring cathedral ceilings showcase the exposed timber rafters and the floors are a combination of cool slate and polished floorboards with carpet in the bedrooms. Bonn Abbey has four spacious bedrooms and two large bathrooms plus an extra separate toilet. Accommodation consists of two queen size bedrooms downstairs. On the second level you have a third bedroom with a king bed (or two king singles) plus a single day bed and the fourth bedroom has a queen bed and two single beds. In addition to this, there is a single bed in the reading room, a small room that leads to one of the upstairs bedrooms allowing comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests. There is also a screened outdoor room to the rear of the property looking over the gardens. ACCOMMODATION Maximum 12 guests or 9 guests in individual beds Bedroom One- Queen bed with ensuite Bedroom Two- Queen bed Bedroom Three- Queen bed plus two single beds Bedroom Four- King bed (or two king singles) plus single day bed Reading Room- Single day bed RATES: SECURITY DEPOSIT A security deposit/bond of $1000 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival and expire 3-6 days after departure MIDWEEK BOOKINGS and LONGER STAYS - Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available on midweek stays and longer stays of 4 nights and over. NOTES - One night stays are available midweek. Weekend one night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge. Weekend Public Holiday bookings must a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate. Easter, Christmas and New Year are a 3-4 night stay and charged at full weekend rate. Concert weekends must be a minimum of 8 guests.

This has to be one of the most cutest cottages we have ever stayed in. The fireplace was a big favourite of ours and we really liked being close to the all of the wineries but away from the busy part of wine country too.
The nature and animals we saw in Broke were so cool and we will continue to reflect on the memories made here.

Very cozy property that was a perfect place for a recent family getaway. Plenty of firewood for the open fire. Good bbq. Beds were very comfy! Our two dogs also had a great time running around the yard. Note though that the yard isn't secure for any dogs who may like to escape! There is a very small fenced area behind the garage to lock them up if necessary. Also, would be great to have a few staples in the pantry other than salt & pepper. Overall, the property was lovely, though

Not really happy with the stay. Property was not cleaned well. Especially carpets were very dirty.

Beautiful property and amazing location
Loved the stay. The property is very comfortable and well connected with most key points of Hunter Valley. Everyone in the group wanted to stay for a few more days.
Just a small suggestion to the manager that for a group of 8 adults and 4 kids, there should be more toilet rolls.
Overall awesome experience, will book it again soon.

A Great Weekend
Our book club has a weekend away each year and this year we chose the Hunter Valley. We needed a large place, plenty of beds and lots of room for cooking and just lounging around. And a fireplace. The Abbey had all of the above and was very close to the wineries we wanted to visit. So it was a perfect base for a great weekend. Highly recommended.

Ideal for a weekend away
We could have stayed longer! The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The big log fire was a highlight enjoyed by all. Our dogs and children loved it too. We look forward to returning.

A great winter girls weekend location. Cosy and great centrally located fireplace. Could have done with an extra couch to accommodate us (6 of us) and the upstairs bedroom with no door meant all sound travelled. Otherwise a great size and comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Bonn Abbey was all we expected and more. Katie, who I liaised with was exceptional. The house was great. My only suggestion would be heating and or underfloor heating in the en-suite bathroom:)

Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Bonn Abbey is a beautiful property and perfect for a small group escape. We loved sitting outside and watching the sun rise over Broke mountain and the mist rolling across the adjacent farms. Katie was wonderful to deal with, very prompt in responding and a great help. There's plenty of space as well if you want some alone time from the larger group. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

All house amenities of great quality and the welcome wine and oils much appreciated. Quiet and at night great views of the stars with no light pollution. A great base for exploring the Hunter valley, highly recommended!

Beautiful house and location, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Close to vineyards in Broke, a little off the beaten track from the more known wineries near Pokolbin. Lovely gifts left for us and nice and clean. A pool in the backyard would make this the perfect property since it's so hot in summer - but it's beautiful as is (and can't wait to visit in winter!) Thank you for a great stay!

Peace and tranquility in the Hunter
We stayed at the Bonn Abbey for 2 nights with the family and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully furnished and has amazing view. The open fire kept us warm and toasty whilst we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the huge dining table. Thank you for the wine and oils gift, we enjoyed them very much. It was extra special as we were able to bring our little dog too, it really made it a home away from home. Thank you!

"We absolutely loved our weekend at Bonn Abbey.
It's location is excellent to the vineyards, but far enough away to feel closer to the amazing farm lands with a never ending view of live stock.
The beds were so comfortable and the eclectic style of the house provided a lovely relaxed environment for a beautiful weekend. The property was clean and had all of the essentials that made a weekend away packing so much easier, beautiful coffee, tea salt & pepper, foil, cling wrap etc.
Huge thanks to the owners for all of the little extras that made it feel more like a resort than a stand alone. Many thanks to Katie who could not do enough to help."

Stayed at Bonn Abbey to celebrate mother’s day - perfect location!
Very quiet with a lovely rural outlook, morning coffee on the verandah will be fondly remembered, as will country drives, boutique wineries, slow roasted dinners and drinks by the open fireplace.
