Lovely house and pool, but hosts made the stay uncomfortable.
The house is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and very pleasant for a summer holiday. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool is a highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The overall setup of the property is charming, and it could be a great place to unwind if you’re left in peace to enjoy it.
Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay significantly affected the overall experience. Some of the beds in the house were also not comfortable at all, which made sleeping difficult for a few of us. One (1) towel per adult person (bed) provided. Our daughter was sleeping with us in our bed and for her we did not even get one towel. But the main thing- the owner lives on the estate and she was present excessively, watering plants, cleaning the pool, while we were still around the pool. When we were entering the house, she lead us through every room and told us what we are NOT allowed to do. She felt comfortable just coming by and commenting and giving instructions. We also noticed surveillance cameras, which made us feel uncomfortable and deprived of privacy.
Her tone was strict and at times inappropriate. For example, on the last night of out stay, she just came and said: “You are aware you have to leave tomorrow until 10?” Or even worse, one day she approached me and told me not to put sunscreen on children because it could affect the pool water, and they are “tanned enough”. We were instructed to shower and scrub off the sunscreen before entering the pool.
We were told that since we’re "one family," we should only use one kitchen, despite being a (family) group from different countries and cities. Pool use came with a long list of rules: no jumping, no playing with large balls, and no moving the sun loungers — even though four of them were broken and uncomfortable.
Air conditioning was restricted to only two hours a day — far from sufficient in summer temperatures.
In summary, the house itself is lovely, but the experience
was marred by the intrusive presence and authoritarian attitude of the owners. We didn’t feel relaxed or truly welcome — which is a real shame for such a promising property.

We have been going to Croatia on holiday for many years, so we chose this type of accommodation due to its nice surroundings and location. I would like to inform next holidaymakers about our experience that happened to us last week. After you come to a house you will check all its equipment and devices that are inside or outside of the house. We did not do it but we should have done it together with the owners! After the final control from the side of the owners you will be able to be accused of damaging some equipment …
After we had come there the owner informed us that the kitchen that was located on the first floor where we were staying could not be used. I felt very uncomfortable as the user because I had to move with all pots between the first floor and the kitchen that was located on the ground floor. The second problem was that the kitchen located on the ground floor did not have a kitchen oven.
The owner did not inform us how to use the jalousies, net against insects or sunbeds either. Later they accused us of damaging some house facilities. We are not aware that we damaged the things.

After you come there I suggest checking the functionality of each jalousie, the net against insects (the owners charged us for its non-functionality – they accused us of damaging it), sunbeds, chairs – everything! Please, take the pictures of a swimming pool (they accused us of damaging a plastic shelter). In the bedroom that is located on the first floor the lamp shade was damaged. It had been damaged before we came there. Check door handlers – we had problems to open the door of the bed room.
The owner checked everything, such as the washing machine, dishwasher, drier in the kitchen, or the glass participation in the bathroom. They have been used for years, so there is a chance that they can damage during your stay as the result of everyday using.
