it’s in a great location while being fairly quiet. the social area/bar is great and it’s an advantage to be able to make your own breakfast and cook. The room we had was small but perfectly comfortable. I think we were as far from reception as we could be but the wifi was strong.

the staircase is fabulous but the climb will not be for everyone (over 60 steps). a simple hook to hang up wet coats would make quite a difference.

location, as the staircases are so steep, when I requested for first floor room, they provided it. They don’t have room in ground floor so everyone must climb atleast one floor in the steep staircase

I thought the private rooms in this hostel is a real hotel because of the high price. but they do not clean the room everyday, dump the garbage, refill toiletries, clean toilets etc. when we stayed for three days , the third day felt like a real punishment. as the reception is not 24/7, I did not get any support in the morning(9-10am) when I get ready. we stayed around Christmas time. heater mildly heated the room(you can keep your body for longtime on the heater anytime to get warm). when I asked the receptionist to increase the heating, she said it’s automatic but when I asked the definition of automatic, she ignored me couple of times. Note: none of the rooms has air conditioning as well so be mindful when you travel in peak summer.

Location was great, staff was friendly.

Very cold inside ( winter), very basic room with no storage or shelf, basically just beds. Charge extra for bathroom towels which is not mentioned on Booking.com ( even though the friendly staff kindly waived the fees when we said we were not happy).

this was a big no no. first the ups: (+) nice location, clean bathroom and lovely chilling areas.

we arrived and there was a big line waiting to do the check in because there was no staff, we waited for about one hour to check in a small room that looked like a luggage room. Next morning the same thing happened with the check out, we were waiting for someone from the staff, so we could talk about our feedback and none was there, minutes after, we were asked rudely by a random staff lady, to just leave the place. So disappointed

The location was excellent. Close to the old town, but far enough to be away from the maddening crowds. The atmosphere at the hostel is very welcoming, and the staff were professional and helpful.

The hostel was very well maintained, except for the worn carpeting on the stairs. That presents not only a safety hazard on the rather steep climb, but it takes away from the charm of this lovely hostel.

location very near to grote market. Window in the room. wifi was good but signal was less upstairs. vibe of hostel was good :)

There was no table, no chair, no place for keeping luggage i.e. no cupboard in the room. Just a window with bed and attached bathroom. Thus overpriced with respect to facilities. We already arrived late but they did the check in more late because they were cleaning it.

The location is perfect for sightseeing and restaurants.The bed was super comfortable.

It could be cleaner, we had spider webs and dust in the private room. The curtains were a little broken. Some hooks for jackets/clothes in general would be nice, too! No free parking nearby (found one at the station for 2,50€/24h, 15 min. walk)
