Lovely property, lots of room and well stocked Near lots of shops and cinema

A bit confusing finding it once we found the parking space but nice to get a parking spot. A staircase to climb before getting into the apartment which can be a bit challenging for elderly or disabled

Exceptional

Whitney was a perfect base for our 6 days exploring the Cotswolds. It was near Oxford and within easy driving distance to the many picturesque villages nearby. Our apartment was at the mill/commercial end of Witney, but we were able to walk the historical centre, supermarket, restaurants and pubs. We valued having en site parking. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Good for 2 using 1 bedroom, not more.

Clean and well kitted out. Comfy. I was surprised and delighted to find that it is in a historic building, an early steam engine here powered weaving looms. The double glazing works. There was no noise from the main road outside. There is a dedicated parking spot for a car. The neighbours are friendly. Supermarket within walking distance.

Where I live the small bedroom is too small to be a bedroom. A small double bed only just fits. Not acceptable. I thought English local authorities had rules about the minimum size of a bedroom. The flu from the boiler runs inside this "bedroom". I'm not a Gas Safe engineer but it gave me the willies. At the very least I would expect a carbon monoxide alarm in this bedroom. Again I suspect that there are rules about this. Guests might be reassured if they are shown a certificate from the local authority that this room is approved for use as a bedroom with a gas flu running through the room. The only window in this room is a skylight at the top of a shaft through the attic and/or the flat upstairs. There's a long orange pole which I guess can be used to open that skylight, but I was afraid to use it in case I broke the window. Guests might want to think about spending their holiday in a room with a boiler flu and no windows. I survived 2 nights, so it must be safe, right? Booking dot com should ask some serious questions about this property. Particularly about the use the 2nd bedroom as a bedroom. If we had been a couple using only the main bedroom this might be a very different review. In that case I might grumble about the new Nespresso machine. The old model Nespresso made much better coffee. My beef is really only about where I slept. I feared for my health.

Great would definitely stay again

The apartment was excellent. Has everything you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable.

The traffic did wake us up, but it didn't bother us as we're faily early risers. The other bedroom is much quieter if you fancy a lie in.

Fabulous little superbly presented bolt hole for 2 !!

The decor and presentation were superb, the location perfect. Plenty of things to do in the locale with public transport nearby in any direction if needed. locale bars and eateries a great selection though a little fragmented opening times on a Sunday evening.

Advertised as sleeps 4 which it did but where do they sit to watch tv or just lounge around, a 2 seater sofa not enough for 4 adults. Toiletries two 3/4 empty hand wash bottles and a half used bottle of some obscure dandruff shampoo ?? The shower head is too big for the riser and just flops down not allowing you to have a proper shwer. As advertised, luxury, but too much crammed in, very basic kitchen. £50 cleaning, really and on top of that £35 service fee. Loved the place but won't be back. A cosy bolt hole for 2 possibly 3. Had our own successful holiday for 20 years + so not novices . Disappointed such a shame.

This apartment is in a great location for access to my daughter’s home!

The kitchen was well equipped and the hosts left us a good supply of cooking necessities as well as milk, coffee, tea and biscuits. The sitting/dining room was small but comfortable with a big TV, a decent dining table and good Wi-Fi.

The beds are small, especially the one in the room with no windows and just a small skylight. This would not be a great apartment for four people.

Wedding weekend

Location and parking were perfect.. Apartment was comfortable, spacious and well equipped,, would definitely stay again, it would be ideal for a longer trip.

,Just a few small things that would be helpful, like a waste bin in the bathroom, magnifying mirror for applying make up and a blind on the hall window. But there was nothing we did not like!

First time we have stayed in an apartment as a family as opposed to a usual hotel and it was great. We would come back.

Beautifully furnished, and all you could need in the apartment. A lovely space.

Only very minor things. Shower head wouldn’t stay up properly and the hooks for the curtain tie backs were falling out of the wall.

Road noise. Clean, tidy.

The noise from the road was ridiculous from 5 am until 9 ish and 4 until 8pm. The secondary glazing does reduce some noise, but not enough. The bedroom window did not close fully(bent hinge) . But it was clean and tidy. Contacted owner after who did say I should have informed her and she would have moved us.

The noise from the road, woke me up every morning. Not enough pans.

Loved the location and the set up of the apartment and room sizes and decor 🙂 kitchen had everything needed , it was a lovely apartment and would genuinely stay again .x Window glazing fabulous at blocking traffic noise .

Attention to detail re cleaning - beds need pulling out after every visitor re to hoover behind bed_ dried blood all over one clean pillow in room mum used ( before she slept in it ) Bath tap dripped _ shower screen ledge needs replacing Car park lights need timer altering ( if on timer and owner of apartment has any control over that ) as couldn't see a thing when gone dark .
