About this cottage rental
Cottage near the centre of Flamborough with stone walls modernised sympathetically to retain its character . The cottage is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, it has a steep staircase and step up to the kitchen and bathroom areas.Two double bedrooms , one has a kingsize bed and a foldaway single suitable for a small child if needed. The second bedroom has a double bed . Modern fitted kitchen , down stairs bathroom with bath and shower . Multi fuel burning stove and electric heating , gas fire in lounge .

We had a lovely holiday here. It's a quirky cottage that may not suit everyone (anyone who can't do steep narrow stairs or steps up and down between rooms), but we really liked it. It has everything we needed, is comfortable and well-equipped, and the garden is beautiful. I was a bit concerned that, advertising itself as pet friendly, it might smell of dogs, but it didn't and everything is kept very clean. The only very minor negative would be that the shower is a bit capricious, but can't think of anything else. Flamborough is lovely too, with 3 pubs, 2 chippies and a Co-op supermarket, as well as cafes and a butcher. Nice walks to Thornwick bay, North and South Landings and Flamborough Head (if you want to see puffins, take a trip on one of the fishing boats from North Landing, one of the best trips we've ever been on), and only short drives to Bempton RSPB reserve and Bridlington. We'll be visiting again, the sooner the better!

This was our second visit to this cottage, which is pet-friendly. Communication with the owner was brilliant, responding really quickly. We love this property & hopefully we will return later in the year. Would recommend.

The village was a lovely place to stay in. Good location for exploring the coast line. The accommodation was adequate but I would have liked to know before hand that the bathroom was on the ground floor
