Perfect location. Walking distance to the port and local beaches, restaurants and cafes. The staff were all very friendly.
I booked a room that specifically said 2 single beds but was given a room with a double bed. I was travelling with my teenage son which made sleeping a little awkward.

When we arrived, we were initially assigned a different room than the one we had expected. However, the staff and the owner handled the situation immediately and kindly moved us to a better available room. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay.
The room was spotless, and every few days we received fresh towels and clean bed linens, which we really appreciated. The breakfast is simple but more than sufficient, and the staff serving it is always attentive and happy to help. There’s also a little garden where you can enjoy your breakfast.
The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from the harbor, Aegina town center, and the beach. We completely fell in love with Aegina and especially with Colona Beach. It’s a beautiful, natural beach that hasn’t been commercialized, and it offers one of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen in Greece. The island is also popular with Greek tourists rather than large crowds of international visitors, which offers you a much more authentic experience.
The only thing I would suggest improving is making sure that the room photos on the booking platform show the rooms guests will actually get. More precise room descriptions/photos would help avoid misunderstandings upon arrival.

We loved how close this property was to the port! Everything from beach, to shops, to port was a very short walk but still very quiet. We loved the breakfast every morning the gentleman does such a great job. Our room was clean and cool, we also really loved Dimitras warm hospitality 💙

The breakfast was fine and well balanced. The Aircon and shower worked really well. The staff were very friendly. Avra beach was an organised beach but I went to Kolonna beach, free and just a bit further. There are two nice gardens, front and back. A shelf of English and other books!
I chose the cheaper room which was smaller and a bit dark but felt quiet and self contained.
