The view and nice queit

10 min walking to the beach, 5 min to town (which is just a few restaurants and a SPAR). Room had a ensuite bathroom with bath. Owner seemed friendly but we only met once in the coffee shop.
Photos made it seem like the round cottages were standing on their own but they were connected to a main building-- with a front door that ran stuck into the floor. The inside was not very inviting to hang out. Our room (3) had plenty of ceiling and wall cracks, mold stains, etc, and a shower that was not comfortable to stand under.

Jennifer, who let us in and cleans was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The setting was great. Having a coffee shop on the premises was great. The rondavel room shape was quaint.
The fridge was unplugged, and there was no ice elsewhere. The placement of the taps behind a solid glass panel meant having to climb into the bath to turn the taps on. The shower over said bath was not safe because of the shape of the bath.
What was lacking was something that made it less of a hotel room, some personal touch. Perhaps the people who did such a good job creating atmosphere in the coffee shop
could give some input. Compared to other places in the area, the price of the accomodation is high for what you get. Which I suppose is why it was available last minute :).
